Like the title says, quite often i like to alt tab and change music or whatever the reason. but I find that about 75% of the time when i do i cannot get back in, i just get a black screen and the game no longer responds. I then have to Ctrl+Alt+Delete to close it. This then results in an incredibly long start up which this game has always had issues with, at least for me. Anyone else get this alt tabbing issue?

I did a search but nothing recent had come up.

Edit: Failtype

I don't think it's ever gonna get fixed. There are some games out there that just don't like it when you Alt+TAB (e.g. Bioware and Bethesda games). I would at least try maybe getting the Origin in-game interface up and Alt+TAB that way.

use windowd mode,

on a side note its most likely down to a problem caused by your game runnign at its default (low) screen size relative to the one you run your normal desktop at, very common problem been around wiht games scince forever

Thanks for the replies, but i always run games and such (Unless the resolution is not available) at 1920x1080 which is my desktops. Just annoying as heck.

Strange. I alt-tab out from time to time and have never had any trouble getting back in. I'm also running at my monitor's native resolution of 1920x1080.
Is there a particular other application you're always switching to? Maybe it's app specific somehow.

Put your game in compatibility mode. Find the MassEffect.exe in your origin game folder and right click, properties, run in compatibility, and choose windows 7. That fixed it for me.

Try Running 1280x760 it is the same size of the 1920x1080 and It also lets ME3 Become faster... I have these configurations, and When I ALT+TAB, it doesn't happen nothing

Borderless windowed mode - no crash (at least for me).
