Hi There,
About a week ago I downloaded companion armor mod that allowed me to change armor for my companions; well shortly after installing it, enemies were no longer dropping loot.My common sense told me "Remove the mod" so I did and still I was not getting anything from any enemies or only very little, about 1 out of 20 enemies would drop something.So I uninstalled my game, cleared my cache and cleaned my registery, did a reinstall.And this did not fix it either. I normally have a bag filled by the time I get to a home base, but now I have less than 4 items.Not even health potions are dropping.This is making the game very annoying to play.I asked this on tech forum, but nobody has answered me.Hoping someone here would know.

I haven't played for a while but I don't remember picking up huge amounts of loot items in general. Most of what I found was junk. Potion drop rates are lower when you play on higher difficulties and are based on how many you have in your backpack already so this could also be affecting it if you've changed up to hard or nightmare.
I haven't used any of the companion armour mods so can't offer any advice there.

Aren't postions considered loot as well? I don't get anything, no potions, no coins, no weapons.when I say loot, I mean enemies aren't dropping anything.
Edit: I never play on any difficult but casual and I have 0 potions in my bag.I have been through half of act one and have not found a single potion or any money; so I can't even buy one.
I wait 10 minutes to make sure I don't have lag; and the enemies fade away with nothing to collect.

You get potions as loot but once you have so many in your backpack they don't drop any more. On nightmare I think it's 3 of each potion type, not sure for other difficulties.
I think there was a bug at some point with death syphon making bodies disappear with no loot drop, not sure if/when that was fixed. Doesn't sound like what's happening to you though.
Haven't come across this problem myself so don't have any other advice to offer sorry
