The easiest way I've found to rank up guardian points is to play silver/cerb on a smaller map. When the wave 10 objective comes, ML the 4 atlases right away. This could take 2-4 missiles (or more if you miss). Once this is done there may be a phantom or two to finish off, but once those are out of the way you will be treated with a constant spawn of guardians.
I don't remember the exact number of guardians, but the entire wave budget will be composed of 2 combat engineers and the rest are guardians.
So, slap on the AP mods or ammo and enjoy the grindfest that is Cerb Mastery.

There is another way to farm Guardians withough having to get to wave 10 on silver. Wave 3 on silver is enough. I chose Glacier with my Krogan Vanguard. When wave 3 starts just ignore the objective (unless its targets that isn't a good one for this) and only focus on Guardians. They spawn infinately. Find one Gardian and kill him. Move to another spawn point and once you found another one go to the point you found the first one. Move between those 2 points and kill as much as possible before the timer of the objective runs out.

Guardians don't spawn a lot but the requirements for the Cerberus Mastery challenge are a bit high compared to the other units'. Not as big as the Husks for the Reapers Mastery but it''s noticeable. For example, I've unlocked most level 1s of the Cerberus Mastery except Guardians, Nemeses and Atlases. The last 2 ones is because I generally kill them at the end of the wave (Nemeses hide and Atlases take quite a long time to kill). Guardians just don't spawn much AND move slowly. So I might have to grind Guardian kills a bit when all other requirements for the Cerberus Mastery are met.SOG TOUGH wrote...

Isn't soloing bronze better? You can kill all Guardians quickly with armor-piercing weapons.

I'd wait a little while longer untill this weeks balance changes go live, I heard they adressed the Husk challenge, maybe they did something for Guardians as well.

Why did you post this online, OP? Now Bioware will buff Cerberus again with crap.

Why would they buff Cerberus because of the OP?
All they are doing is explaining how to get the Guardian challenge done faster.
