1. Laugh or say "In your face, you get it? Because the bullet its, its in your face" whenever I score a headshot with a sniper rifle.

2. Dance/Slide/Roll/Jetpack around between waves,

3. Press A to begin the revive animation, and then step back to cancel over down team mates I know from the BSN or are on my friends list. Halo what have you done to me!

4. Sometimes I sing random songs.

5. Run around screaming in my mic when I am being shot.

6. Act out over the mic as my character is being executed by an instant kill.

I like to play rousing games of "Stab the Nuke". Bonus points if there are teammates in cover next to me.

I taunt the enemies as if they could hear me, cursing them and such, shout warcries if I'm playing krogan (which usualy ends with my mom complaining) and mimic vorcha almost all the time if I'm playing one or if there is one in the squad
And I'm usually describing their actions as if they were conscious of any of them, like something that used to happen:
* someone is dead, then comes a trooper to stomp, but he stops, then arrives a second trooper, that stops, and they stand there doing nothing until one of them stomps
* I would say that the first trooper came to stomp, but the other shouted "hey leave that one to me" and he arrives, but then they start to argue "weren't you going to kick him?" , "I was but, look at those clothes, too colorful dude" , "get a grip, we have work to do" and the other starts laughing and the first goes like "pff I stopped to do you a favor, never again" stomps.

Yesterday I was in a match against reapers and the guy that was carrying the object died grabbed by a banshee and the object got kinda stuck in her head, a friend was fighting her and I got close and told the banshee: "give me that object or I kill you!" I got the object and went to the lz to deliver, without any trouble lol

That's super :D

Also when I behind cover I will tilt one of the analog sticks up, and down to make it look like my character is head banging, or checking our their team mate next to them.

Kindof related:

Today, playing Gold against Geth on Firebase Ghost Hazard. When it began raining, some guy began singing "singing in the rain".

Was epic.

Usually the moment a wave ends I just drop my controller during the transition and stop moving completely, like i'm in a trance. Then as soon as the next one starts up I start moving again.

All of my Characters are named after someone in the combo of games, generally fitting their position.

I always do wierd things but it depends on what character I am.

Krogans- Laughing like a maniac whenever a body goes flying after a melee

Volus-I roll around and always shout SAFETY EGG when i heavy melee

Paladin- I quote a bad line from Arnold Schwarzenegger as Mr. Freeze but change it up. "WHAT KILLED THE SWARMERS?? THE SNAP FREEZE!!!!!"

These are only a few examples

Ones that I don't think I've seen mentioned...

I always try to distract friends on voice chat. If we're on Hydra, I'll spend ages staring at the birds, and telling everyone to come over here. On Rio, I try to point Christ the Redeemer out to people. If we're nearing the end of an early wave, I'll go over to the edge of the map, and go "Look! It's Jesus! On a hill!"

Trying to get my teammates to join in is the only deliberately odd bit. Looking at the scenery is because I sincerely enjoy it.

--

Additionally, I theme my characters' names by class. Sometimes, rather too elaborately. All of my adepts have names that can also be towns. So there's Delphi, Kingston, Waldorf, the Asari are called Sydney and Adelaide... and the punchline to this is that one's called Staines. Points if you can guess which name belongs to which species.

The soldiers have rhyming, rhythmic or catchy nicknames. Like stage names. Jet Pack Jim, Murray the Claw, Fred Metal, etc. Engineers used to be named after different wizards, but I changed them to minor Fallout characters. Moira Brown, The AntAgonizer... Primm Slim is my personal favourite. Sentinels have stereotypical names from different countries. The turian is called Pierre, the Krogan's Gunther... and I was running out of countries by the time I got to the Vorcha, so he's called Tezcatlipoca.

Infiltrators are named after the funnier halves of double acts. So they're Agent Merchant, Agent Mitchell, etc. etc. And Vanguards? They used to be named after Apprentice candidates. I think they're characters from Greek mythology, now? Ajax, Theseus, etc.

Methew wrote...

I know that statistically, I can't be the only one that does wierd stuff in MP.

What qualifies as wierd?

Well, I've named all of the classes I play as as major characters. My default Human Adept is Jack. Asari Adept is Liara, Volus Engineer is Barla, Batarian Soldier is Balak, and etc.

I also sing when I play.

My brother does the names - except he tends to go for the most ridiculously minor characters he can think of. One of his quarians is named Lia'Vael, after the one who was accused of stealing the Volus' credit chit.

And yes, I sing a lot. I sing a lot anyway, it's kind of my default setting, so I'm struggling to remember any particular songs. Usually just making it up as I go along. "I'm batarian, I'm a little batarian, I'm an englishman in new york" is something I was singing yesterday. And I must have a volus song. Probably something along the lines of, "I'm your volus, I'm your fire, your desire?" I don't really recall, it's more automatic than that. Not reflexive, but idle - it's not like I'm going "I'll sing a song now," or trying to come up with puns. It's the aliens' powers or their names that remind me of songs.

Whenever I'm playing an Asari I rapidly dash side to side between waves, even though it's draining my barrier.

Yep! I do this too. I usually dash in square shapes. One day I'll try to write my name before the next enemies arrive.

ETA: Ohhhh! And I take Combat Engineers very personally. If I catch them starting to lay down a turret, I will drop whatever I'm doing, and run headlong at them, firing all of my powers to try and catch them before they can place it. Often yelling "NOT TODAY!" Again, this is... completely automatic. It's a reflex. "No, you don't!"

Edit: Oh and there's something I should mention: the volus adept song!
"I'm a little ball, and roll like a little ball, throwing tiny balls, and holding a weapon that throoooows tiny balls" (scorpion if anyone wondering xD)
The volus engineer song is similar, with some adjusts that depend on my tactics, if I'm exploding with the mine or just using to debuff lol

hahahahahaha :D

i like that too. My new thing is to use the jetpacked Turians in a similar fashion but in cramped spaces. I pretend my jet pack is malfunctioning and then I wonder what the other players think when they see me doing this.

When I play Asari Adept/Vanguard, I stasis downed teammates because it makes me feel like it draws attention to the fact that they need reviving. Spoiler: it really doesn't.

I weaken phantoms to next to no health, then go for the light melee kill on them. Makes you feel like such a badass when it works.

I tend to light or heavy melee (depending on the character) after every round. It was a satisfying ritual until the volus came along, I feel like an idiot when I do it with them.

I name some of my characters as well based off of main characters from the single player, so you're not alone. :)

As for 'weird', well, I'm known to go around players and combat roll/flip/whatever around them. It can be fun.

Also, if I get a "running in place" glitch or a "running into the wall constantly" glitch, I'll exploit it to no end.

It looks VERY disturbing when a Geth character sidles up to you in cover and does this.
