"- One of the more highly requested kits is being released..."
(emphasis added)
From the changes delayed thread.
Sure, while I personally would have preferred the drellfiltrator, I have seen plenty of requests for asari

just what i wanted more asari and krogans...where are the new salarians?
Next DLC
One can only hope. I personally find the Salarians very utilitarian against all enemies.
The sentinel should have been Salarian, but I guess that the Asaris have more fan.
Two more Asaris in this DLC, not really fond of this choice.
People are perverts.

Hmmm, I wonder if AF's damage taken debuff and Warp's expose's debuff stack. 30% damage taken from BE and other damage sources? Yes please.
I'm pretty sure that they stack. The problem is that even with it your BE potential is less than half of the Fury's (1.04 seconds cooldown on throw), making the stack only worth against bosses.
I'm thinking about a 6/6/6/0/6 build for max survivability+BE potential...let's see

1. Drell Infiltrator
2. Geth Soldier
3. Batarian Vanguard
But I'll try out this new asari.

Tech Armor: damage reduction + power damage + power recharge
Annhilation Field: radius + movement speed + shield drain
Warp: detonations + lasting damage (may respec for expose) + pierce
Passive: capacity/power damage

Indeed, this is what I believe will be the strongest way to play as this character. Oddly enough, nearly the same as the Shaman released last week.Spinotech wrote...

The shaman is so beast to me. I love using him. So far I'm kinda iffy about the Valk, played as a power class she has a terrible rate of combos(and you have to be really close) I should probably go with radius though and respec her.
Edit: She also has the horrendous(shoot me while I stand completely still for a few seconds) Asari heavy melee >.>
