Indeet it is and I love it. It's just the underwhelming amount of 2 new kits when they supposedly release 16 new characters.

Resurgence = 6 characters, 5 new kits.

Rebellion = 6 characters, 3 new kits.

Earth = 6 characters, 6 new kits.

Retaliation = 16 characters, 2 new kits.

It's a downslide.

That is the first thing I noticed too. It looks out of place.
I do believe if she did have better armor that the TA would have looked MUCH more appropriate on her.

I mean, the Asari infiltrator is going to have biotic powers.  They have already shown that they just do not care.

Every asari has biotics, so I'm okay with this. I just wish they released only the new Turians and Volus in the DLC and worked on a 'character creator'. There's no need to claim there are 16 new characters, when there are actually a lot less than that.

Even without adding new armors, the fact we won't see any new powers is saddening enough.

 I've just noticed it on the manifest icon, that the Tech Armor looks oversized an out of place on the Asari's normal commando clothes.

Why couldn't she wear the armor that Asari Eclipse mercs wore on Illium, in Mass Effect 2? Tech Armor looked normal on them. 

EDIT: Why are so many people missing the point? I'm just lamenting the lack of new appearances for the new characters. I'm actually looking forward to unlocking the Valkyrie, I think her power combination is really interesting.

I can appreciate the fact that Bioware gave us [and specifically some fans] a new way to play a character, I really do. But at the same time, I think it's perfectly normal to say the character design[or lack there of] is lazy and uninspired.

Nothing wrong with any of that. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Either or is a terrible fallacy and quite apparent in these forums too.

For me, the biggest issue with these new characters are not so much that they in themselves are uninspired and lazy, but that they also take away the unique flavor of older chars (in this case, the Fury).

To be perfectly honest, I'd actually prefer the Volus and Turian Havoc/Ghost to be the last new characters if these were the only alternatives :/
