Dear god, Mr. Fagnan, I'd hate to have your job. Dime-a-dozen complainers.

I like the buffs for drell and turians, the nerf for demo and destroyer are bitter, yet bearable. Also, the brute was laughly from bronze to platinum. A few well-placed argus volleys were enough to deal with those darn behemoths.

Although I do not quite understand why the waves 10 and extraction wave have been cleared from bombers (they are an entertaining challenge imo), the new composition is quite welcome to me. The dragoons were a pain in the...fanny, now I can finally concentrate on frying phantoms rather than play skipping with some cerberus dudes.

Also, hunter and prime nerfs. Gusta.

Anyway, I'd like to get an explanation on how you decide which kit will be released next. Do you concentrate on the popularity? Just randomness? Which class has less kits?

But whatever, keep kicking, lads. Good job.

Cheers, GeneralMoskvin.

Uh.. I'd like to know which other kits are most played so we can avoid them for a while so they wont get nerfed. Thanks :)

Note: I actually think the destroyer did need a nerf though.

Liked all the changes except the DM nerf. Really wasn't that big a nerf but I get it, they are trying to give us incentive to use hawk missle launcher. It's not a bad power, it's costs just outweigh it's benefits. Speccing into this power reduces the shields on an already slow character that can't dodge. More importantly, you have to take points out of another ability to put into HML.

Come on seriously...
How do you expect people to bother to play Plat runs and higher than silver if you guys Keep nerfing the few classes able to Hold their own on them......N7's are meant to be the strongest of the human units.

STOP NERFING classES JUST TO SHUT UP THE COMPLAINERS WHO DONT HAVE THEM.

Next nerf? reduce all players health to 1 bar?
or All weapons do Zero Damage ?

The Destroyer was frankly way too powerful and one of the reasons he was the most played kit in the game along with the Demolisher (they were both way above everyone else). Also, Devastator Mode made it very difficult to balance many weapons, especially weapons that have regenerating ammo (Collector Weapons) or get damage bonuses after a charge up time like the PPR.

Please test him in game before jumping to conclusions. He is still a very powerful kit.

This is far from true. The Demolisher was not "way above everyone else". She ONLY had those grenades; the nerf was unnecessary. I don't understand why you would nerf the playerbase at all. This isn't even a PVP style game it's a Co-op horde style game. Why make it anymore difficult than it already is? I don't get it. The Demolisher isn't even that durable. She's pretty basic aside from her Grenades, which aren't in limitless supply. The Destroyer wasn't even that bad in my opinion. I can't say I'm happy with these changes right now.

by "way above everyone else", he mean there was a lot more people playing with them than with other classes, not that they was a lot more powerful. YOu probably already saw (and ignored) the variety argument, so I won't write it again, you know why balance matters, even in a coop. Plus, you completely ignored when he explain the well know difficulty it bring to balance weapons..

We are still looking at other balance changes, including some potential Gold changes for future updates. But we felt Bronze/Silver were higher priority since a lot more players play those 2 difficulties.

That confirms what I always felt: the nerfs and buffs cater to silver-level-players.
Nice to actually have that confirmed now, it explains a lot.

Whether your comment is meant to be positive or negative try not to assume that is what they are doing.  It could be for other reasons.  Yes its possible as most players play silver but that does not mean it is absolutely what it is.

on that note, thank you Bioware for continuing to support your game with free dlc, and stiving to find a good balance between fun and challenging.

Also the Collectors on Bronze and Silver should be left alone entirely. If what I've seen is true and the factions difficulties were raised so that Bronze is now Silver and so on, the Collectors pose the perfect scenario to turn Silver players into Gold players and move them up the difficulty. The Collectors lack Geth Bombers and Dragoons except on Platinum and are wonderfully balanced as is.

People seem to forget that you aren't supposed to camp at all times, especially in low level games and focus firing on a Scion will drop it much faster than people give credit for.

The only complaint I can understand is the Praetorian's beams going through cover, but until they fix the pyros ability to shoot fire through it, I don't care about the Praetorians because at least they give you fair warning.

I also just noticed that most of the people defending the nerfs are Silver players. That explains a lot. Drell and Turian players avoid Platinum at all costs.

If BioWare ever decides to do a Sentinel Drell, Shield Boost would be great.

I do hope that at least this will slow down the grenade-spamming demolishers.

BW have you done any market research as to why there are so many used me3 games available at GameStop recently??? I think this emphasis on "balance" has become a drive to move the game from cover based shooter to run and gun shooter may have something to do with it...
Time to put this game up for a while... All this balancing has made me unbalanced and anything that annoys me this much is not worth it. Really pylon nerfs??? How is that a balance issue again?

It's "old" now, so the natural progression is to trade in a game. Balancing and DLC are the only things that keep the game interesting, and they do a great job of keeping it relevant. The fact that people are outraged over changes means they love the game.

Today's changes are now live and detailed here.

Good idea to nerf Destroyer and Demolisher, as they are way too much represented in any level vs any enemy, i hope that we will see now some more variation in the lobbies, well done, people will play some other characters now, hopefully ;-)

As I said before, I didn´t care for what would be the most requested new kit to be released, but now I can say, wow, very nice to see the new Asari Valkyrie Sentinel available.

The hazard maps are like the same maps, but with such a different aura, feeling, it´s like new maps almost, keep on with these.
No matter if they affect players or are only visual (changes) effects, like at night on Giant with Collectors, just awesome looking!
Also on FB Ghost the rain, if now acid or not, it gave such a detrimental feeling, as you are there for your mission and now it even rains on top of that, forcing practically everyone together to sprint from container to container...

Asari sentinel is trash/useless. Geth trooper should have been out instead !!!
This ... "thing" was among the most requested ?!

I'm feeling better now...

made the Brutes stronger and made the characters weaker. I think we're going in the wrong direction here. I thought these were supposed to be balance changes? Keep going this way with these changes and they won't like the outcome. Its going to come to the point,if not already, where the enemy will be herding us around the maps for a kill.

Only a matter of time.

So you create Rare characters that are popular and fun to play and take a lot of in game credits and luck to obtain....and then you reduce how useful they are to the detriment of the community. What will happen to the next most popular classes? Will they get nerfed too? What about the ones after that? I can't say that all these recent changes to the game are making me want to sit down and play it more.

I know what he meant by "way above everyone else". My claim still stands as is. I wasn't even talking about DM. I was talking about Supply Pylon. My argument still stands as is.

Please tell me you controlled for FBW farming (Demoliser) and missile glitchers (Destroyer) in your analysis of these kits.

- Evolution 4 rate of fire bonus decreased from 25% to 15%

Dude wtf. This was completely unnecessary.
Put it back please.

And on top of that, nothing has been done about the collectors.

While I seriously appreciate the Turian and Drell buffs as well as the release of the Asari Valkyrie Sentinel, I don't appreciate further nerfing Devastator mode.

You might as well throw in a rare rifle that fires nerf darts.
Oh wait. You already did. The Krysae.

Gotta love all these people crying over one little nerf...and btw, this is the only time DM got a nerf.
ANd for collectors...l2p
