Do you think the Anders/Sebastian choice will play a role?

Might Sebastian need an ally to reclaim his throne from the people who pulled a coup against his family? Is there going to be a choice in who to side with in Starkhaven? Or will Sebastian want the protagonist to help him hunt Anders down if the former Grey Warden still lives? I'm curious how Sebastian would respond to a mage protagonist, with Anders still alive (given his comments in the pro-mage scene about the mages if Anders was killed). The developers seemed to leave out Sebastian dealing with apostate Hawke being an illegal mage, after all.
Anders seems to push pro-mage apostate Hawke into being a leader of the mages, telling the Champion he's the leader the mages have waited centuries for. If he's dead, he might be a martyr to the cause of mage autonomy. He might be trying to deal with his symbiosis with Justice, if he wasn't killed, since it may negate any need for Anders to go through The Calling.
Any thoughts on whether this choice might play a role or not in Inquisition?

Live Anders will get a cameo, dead Anders won't. Though maybe dead Anders will be replaced by a Justice cameo.

I hope so. It was a pretty major decision that took a while for me to make.
Same, but Sebastian was DLC, so it's a bone for those who bought it.
But Anders was an Awakeing character, so nvm.
I dunno if it should be MAJOR, though.
Best bet is, living Anders gets cameo, dead Anders stays dead.

It's odd, I didn't have to think about it much when I played my first Hawke, who was very moral. He just thought, regardless of what Justice/Anders had done, that it was wrong to execute him without trial.
Kind of funny when you think of it, though, putting Justice on trial. Sounds like a bad documentary.

I don't think there'll be a huge amount. Maybe a Sebastian who helped defend the mages will be shown to be more pro-mage, while a live Anders will make him more opposed and bitter. But he's DLC, so I can't see him getting a particularly big role.

^ This. I'm sure we'll see at least a mention of them somewhere, but I really doubt that it would be anything significant. Even a minor sidequest would surprise me - too few people would see any of it.

"Oh, here's another one Anders! In a craven attempt at survival - or conquests - never sure with your types. A blood mage destroyed a whole village by summoning demons because he heard that the families of Templars lived there.
Hell yes to the glorious revolution eh buddy?"
Also - I'd find Sir Pounce A Lot - make him my bestest friend... and rename him Templar Maximus Mage Hunter Extrordinare!

Anders won't be available - he'll be in the dungeons of my Inquisitor's castle - and he'll be receiving daily reports of all the devastation his act has wrought upon all the nations of Thedas.
!
You have to find him first. I think the Inquisitor will have more important things to do then finding him.

"Justice on Trial"-
Sounds like the title of a wannabe Michael Moore documentary
In all seriousness, though, if he ran away with my Mage FemHawke, is he going to "show up"? I think the last person they would want to "run into" for a cameo is an Inquisitor. Especially with that whole "being on the run" bit.

Then again, they should avoid bringing back previous characters too much. Otherwise we encounter the "small world" issue.

Anders is dead (again) - and Sebastian has become a nun.

I'd see it as being sort of a "Which one appears at a pro-Mage war camp" thing, with a side quest depending on which survived of course.

The world got smaller since DA2 so having cameos of old companions will add more maybe they talk of places that the player will never visit because of the lack of resources.

Considering its a choice from a DLC? I doubt it'll pay off big. Maybe a cameo. Maybe a few lines of dialogue.
Though the Kill Anders/Don't Kill Anders isn't a DLC choice, Sebastian just complicated things a tad.

Well that is true. If Anders is alive I cannot help but think he'd be right in the middle of something big. All barely-contained righteous fury and seething hatred.
I don't know how they're going to handle Anders in DA3.

I spared Anders because I though "**** you you whiney ****, you're not getting off that easy. First thing you're going to do is help me fix this mess, then you're going to deal with the consequences of it."

I hope we see Sebastian's story continue in DA3. I really liked him.
I liked his story (not him, I hated him) but if they do, they need to help the people out who didn't buy the DLC.
Heck, the "ELTHINA NO!!!!" clip was enough to make me uninstall it, I can imagine there are people who didn't buy it.
The Kill Anders/ Don't isn't a DLC choice, but what Sebastian decides on after you kill him is.
A friendly Hawke relationship (I think) has him going to be all loyal to the Chantry.
A rival one has him going to take back his city-state.
Maybe he changed his mind (again!) by DA3. I mean, Leliana changed her mind bout being dead, and so did Anders (through some Awakening playthroughs)
And he was romancable by the ladies (only). Some of them might want a cameo of Hawke too. (but I think she runs away and Sebastian doesn't join, I dunno, never romanced the asp)
