Do you think the Anders/Sebastian choice will play a role?

I hope so. It was a pretty major decision that took a while for me to make.

I imagine it would explain why Sebastian always lives at the end of Dragon Age II, even if Hawke spares Anders and Sebastian threatens to lead an army against them. There's also the rumor about the Inquisitor going to Starkhaven during his trek across Thedas, which was originally planned as a place to visit for the Exalted March expansion pack.

I don't think it really matters whether Sebastian is a DLC or not. His DLC exists to show that he's there, he exists and lives in the Dragon Age Universe. The only difference it makes is that you meet him instead of being oblivious to his existence.

It's clear in the book Dragon Age: Asundar that everyone and their grandmother knew that it was Anders who started the Mage Revolution in Kirkwall. So Sebastian was probably outside of the chantry somewhere else in the city at the time of the explosion and swore vengeance on the man who murdered his beloved Mother Figure. Hawke just wasn't around to see it since they've never met the man.

So it's not completely unlikely that you wouldn't see him in Dragon Age III be it as a Prince or a Brother. As for Anders, if he lives you'll probably see a cameo of him in a Rebel Mage Camp or something. If not him, probably Justice. Perhaps even Justice possessing a new body?

If you chose to execute Anders, you may have killed the body but Justice will always remain. He's not going to go away anytime soon. That spirit doesn't seem all that eager to return to the Fade assuming he even can. He's not going to go away.

I mean, some people never read the Calling but Utha and the Architect compromise that pretty large expansion. And I am positive that more people play the DLC then read the books.

(Have you ever read another "video game based" book? No? Exactly)

I just wonder how they would put him in there, and avoid a "I never met Anders/ I turned him over to the Templars/ I never recruited him in the first place" scenario. Not too hard, but some of the ladies romanced him, so there's that. Some people are upset the Warden diasppeared and Leliana/ Zevran wasn't attached to him/ her lie a tumor and seems not to know where he/ she is, but whatcha gonna do? :P

I think Justice will show up if Anders doesn't. He likes the "mortal realm" too much to just leave. The DAA conversations are pretty enlightening after you play DA2, and are great conspiracy fodder. :bandit:

He really does seem fancy the Mortal Realm quite a bit doesn't he? I've heard/seen his banter. The ones involving his facination with the world outside the fade are rather.. demonic qualities the longer he's around. He's probably going to be body-hopping forever much in the way Flemeth does and live on for centuries to come. Unleashing his personal view of justice upon the world. Only to come back again and again no matter how many times you kill his host.

That would turn him into quite the antagonist I think. You think you defeated him.... but he'll only come back eventually.
He always comes back.

There should be something, since the player couldn't kill Sebastian, but could only let him walk away. And he walked away while threatening to bring back an army. He can't have that plot armor for no reason right?

This could very likely be something they intended to follow up on with the DA2 expansion, which was later cancelled. Sebastian's story may be over now.

maker, i hope not!

i hated the way those two interacted with each other on EVERY level from act 2 through endgame.

i suppose they'll have to do SOMETHING to wrap that up. at least, for those of us who bought the DLC. i just hope that it takes about two seconds, and isn't unbearably painful.
