The GI is currently unnerfable because his powers are shared by others. Nerfing him means nerfing classes that were never super powerful.
I seriously think they should have split the powers so that it had the same name but could be configured differently, such as the arc grenades of the QMI/QME and the demolisher. Both have the same name and similar effects but are different powers in the system
So because a class is new gives him a right to be broken?
I can solo gold with this dude and i was never able to do this before. But he's new, so i guess that gives me some more weeks of easy credits. The GI i agree, but the GI isn't the immortal one in this situation.

There should be no character that is insta-win and the fact that this guy isn't ultra-rarity is even more confusing.
You're saying you can't enjoy the game because ONE character makes the game too easy for you? And that you cannot make yourself play anything else because you're too ****ing lazy? And this should be reason enough for Bioware to ruin said character for most EVERYONE else?

So it's ok when they nerf destroyer and demo? But when anyone nerfs your precious (who have honestly been much more powerful), you jump with hostility? You're funny. Missing the point, WITHOUT the character.
If you hate it so much, and it is making you "lazy" then why play it? Why surrender your free will to a playable character?
Do you really need Bioware to nerf something for you to no longer use it?
I cannot even begin to explain how apalled I am at this line of thought. The need for a higher power to make a change, to solve your laziness and complacency. If you become (or are) unhealthily fat, should your government ban cake so you will not eat it?
Do you have no control over yourself? "Its not my fault, the class is making me play as it! Its making me lazy and complacent! This spoon is making me fat!"
Come on, get a hold of yourself. A higher power does not need to solve your problems.
Or perhaps is that just too American of a mindset for you?
This thread is pitiful.

No, that's you being pathetic.
I want to win, but I'd rather snipe. SI.
I want to win with explosions that clear out a room without having to shoot. Demoloisher.
I want to win without using a gun. Human sent/N7 fury.
Btw, his mobility is limited in CQC. Want to dive for cover 2m in front of you? Sit through the animation that opens you up to more shots than a simple dive roll wouldave done.

The Harrier is one of the most balanced weapons in this game. Leave it alone.
The GI doesn't need another nerf. It was already hit twice with the TC and HM nerf. Not everyone can use the GI and make him OP. I have seen many people fail miserably with the GI. Nerfing the GI will only affect the GE more and the unreleased Geth Trooper.
The Turian Ghost is powerful, and the biggest thing with him is his survivability with the stim packs. But again, nerfing the stim packs on the TGI will only affect the Havoc Soldier as well, which isn't that great of a class already.
You do not understand. Today the harrier is bloody overused, the only drawback being the low ammo counter and a little more weight. Basically, everyone equips it.
A demolisher? Harrier.
An asari justicar? Slap a harrier on her.
Batarian soldier? Performs great with the harrier.
Ghost? What else but the harrier.
Plain wrong imo. There are weapons you never see in a match - Kishock, Incisor and Scimitar, just on a side note, that deserve a buff. It's like everyone running around with an AA-12 on CoD (though I'd never compare ME3 with Crap of Duty).
Whoa! Whoa! Whoa!. Batarian soldier with a Harrier? Are you crazy? Slap a falcon on that baby and begin the stagger sessions with Falcon + Ballistic Blades = Fun combo that kills and kills and kills. If you get bored, then throw in that ridiculously slow heavy melee and watch out! You'll get 50 melees in a game with four people. Seriously, I wish people would stop pretending that everyone plays the game or has the same mindset of how to play the game. Some of us *cough*haveskill*cough*
Yeah, the batarian soldier is a treasure. I play it with the Kishock - a gun that requires skill to play, actually my favorite sniper rifle. As a secondary I usally take a graal or, notabene, a falcon. The batarian falcon punch (on a side note, giving 90% Damage Resistance) makes every match a heavy melee fest. This combines staggering fire support with deadly damage and various side effects. I love guns that have a special twist on them, not just point-n-shoot, but, for instance, shoot, mind the projectile velocity, watch the enemies go to infinity and beyond. Weapons that actually take skill or special class builds are lost - Kishock, Graal, Eagle, Arc-Pistol,Argus, Falcon etc... they require a buff. Nothing needs to be nerfed.
Also, someone mentioned that the harrier is the only good rifle without gimmicks. That's the problem. A monkey could perform well with a harrier if the next ammo supply is in close proximity. Hell, slap special ammo on it and there is nothing it can't punch a hole through.

I can totally understand the nerfs to the demolisher and destroyer but the ghost and the geth are way more of a problem than these guys. I can't go into a gold lobby now without seeing at least one other (and i said other because i have been playing him since release.
This thing gives me no reason to use any other character) turian ghost infily, never the turian soldier mind you. At least the geth has one weakness - he's fragile, but turian ghost has not a single one.
He's tanky with stim packs (more so than a krogan vanguard, which is sad). He does amazing damage with a cerberus harrier in his hands (and about this time, i'm pretty sure everyone has one). He can turn invisible........(not that he needs to). He has one of the best anti-shield powers on this game (not that he needs it). And insane mobility with the jetpack movement.
So in conclusion what we have now is a damn near immortal infiltrator the can avoid damage unbelievably well in the first place. And another that can kill anything before it even thinks about shooting him? Bioware i think you missed your shots here, but we'll see once the data pops up of the most used characters in gold and platinum matches. You've done nothing but stopped people from using the other tops and narrowed it down to two classes that will be played the most now.
I know they're going to get nerfed. With either bioware seeing this and looking into it or obvious statistics. Flame me all you want, but this post will repeatedly get bumped so bioware can hopefully glance this. By the way, can't wait to go back to platinum to see solely geth and turian ghosts.
First of all, I don't understand why they would nerf "the best of the best." We finally get N7 soldiers, you know "the best of the best" and now they are just like the other soldiers. You are okay with this.
Second, all of us should be punished because some people, including you, don't have the will power (or are just not bored with them or don't know how to use your imagination or can't figure out a way to make the other characters work) to play another character and experiment and master them. So, Bioware is supposed to nerf them so you can whine that you can't use them like you use to?
Third, I believe I know your problem if you can play the Ghost but not the Havoc soldier who is much more flexible and pust out much more damage (this is just going off actual maxium damage specs you can do to each character without adding any outside skill, guns, or teamwork) and did I mention much more flexible. This is kinda upsetting to me and my friends, most of which can play with the crappiest weapons and still out score me (only by 2-10k). We have fun but we play and learn and we make the game work instead of relying on stats to determine who we will play with.
You can be upset all you want but you know i'm right when it comes down to it, whether you admit it or not. And if you were so good with everything as you propose, you wouldn't mind a nerf to the top classes. Why use imagination and effort on any other class when i can be an idiot with one? Answer that question, then you have my respects.
Let me get this straight... You are sitting there and asking me, "Why use imagination and effort on any other class when i can be an idiot with one?" Well, I guess I would use imagination and effort because I am not an idiot therefore I do not have an idiot way of thinking. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills' skills I have aquired over a very long career. Spec out of stim packs on both new Turians, run a Gold and get back to me. If you can make it through without dying, let's say six times, and do not come in last place, if you are not soloing, then I'd say there is hope for you yet. If not, I think you need to reevaluate yourself and not the kits.

It's not "easier" to manuver because of the jetpack, and especially not "over" other classes. The jetpack allows for quick escapes in situations like a grenade or Phantom bearing down on you, but the downside to the jetpack is that it shoots you a great distance, so you can't necessarily spam it. You are just as likely to jump out of trouble as you are to jump in to trouble. Certain other classes like the Asari or Shadow/Drell have their dodge advantages/disadvantages as well, and also have applications better/worse than the jetpack dodge.Optimisticalman wrote...

GI is squishy in a lot of people's hands and an absolute wrecking ball in others.
TGI is too new to evaluate yet. A lot of people play it because it is A)new B)an infiltrator C)a class that make ARs awesome.
or D) It's much easier to use and maneuver than every other character.
Stim Packs work like grenades, and you don't get many of them (aside from gear bonuses). They're kinda difficult to recover from ammo boxes on the higher difficulties, especially when you have others in the game that use grenades. And even the Stim Packs won't save you from sync kills or high-damaging attacks. Just as well, the duration of Stim Packs (6 or 9 seconds) is only enough to take out or survive one boss enemy or survive/take out small mob of enemies. Use a Stim Pack and run into a huge group, I guarantee you will die. It's not a god-mode ability.
The Ghost's base tree and TC tree encourage Assault Rifle use over Sniper or any other gun. In this way it limits the Ghost's usefulness outside of AR's. This also makes him very much a single target DPS'er. The Ghost is weak when it comes to crowd control, and the jetpack can only save you so much.
And Overload is Overload. Nothing to see here.
Overarching point? You're wrong OP. Ghost does not need a nerf, or a buff for that matter. He's fine where he is. Same with Geth Infiltrator. They already nerfed him a couple times, there's no more need to nerf further.
I think we can trust the BioWare guys behind multiplayer with doing their jobs, eh? Else they wouldn't be there.
