If we only get one Dwarven companion in DA3, are you hoping for Varric, Oghren or Sigrun? (Or someone new?)

And who do you think would win if Varric and Oghren get into a bar brawl?

Someone new, of course. But I loved all three, for very different reasons, and would feel like I was slighting the other two to pick just one.

Personally, I'm hoping for a larger dwarven presence in DA3 than DA2. With Kal-Shirok right around the corner from Orlais, it seems feasible.

Wouldn't be opposed to Varric coming back. If not someone new and equally original would be fine.

Of the three you mentioned, Sigrun was my favorite. Varric would be second (mostly because of Bianca), yada yada yada.

Someone new probably, but as much as I freaking love Oghren, I would prefer Varric. Sigrun died in my Awakening playthrough. As for the bar fight. Oghren would have an upper hand for a while, but considering how drunk he can get, Varric would own him.

It makes it more fun to exclude the option of choosing someone new.

Hmmm... Well, given that we've just had a game featuring Varric, I'd prefer an older character to return. Oghren has already been in two games, so I'd choose Sigrun. Her character could probably stand to be developed a lot, and her presence in DA3 would make up for the lack of female dwarfs in DA2.

edit - scrap that, it's got to be Oghren all the way!

Someone new, but if I had to choose one of them, Sigrun.

Never liked Oghren...at all. And I quite like Varric, but not as much as most others seem to. He's was okay.

In recent times, however, it has been discovered that Kal-Sharok miraculously survived the darkspawn onslaught. However, the few dwarves living there are said to be extremely reclusive and unwilling to re-establish contact with the rest of the world as well as being embittered towards Orzammar. 

With far fewer resources than Orzammar and no access to the surface, Kal-Sharok has had to do some very questionable things to survive, and now they are changed forever.

I think Orzammar is a safer bet in this matter (and it's closer too).

Someone new. I like all the characters mentioned, but I already know about them.(Like I thought I did with Anders, but DA2 proved me wrong.)

Do you want a new version of Sigrun with a huge personality change? Or the same exact character with little new to learn about them?

I'd prefer a new dwarf. Between the previous one, I'd like to have Sigrun, because she was present only in an expansion. Varric is my favourite from the group though.

Loved them all, so any of the above (including Shale or Sandal! ) - or someone new. If I was FORCED to choose, then Sigrun. I loved her voice and her attitude

Oghren... Or maybe a Dwarf Warden from Origins... Just saying...

Sigrun is very unlikely to appear in the series ever again, as she's very difficult to keep alive. If left to defend the Keep, she dies. If not befriended, she disappears into the Deep Roads to die. Of course, that's in the epilogue screens, and they can just over-rule those, as they did with Anders. But I still wouldn't bank on ever seeing her again, as her "tank rogue" build does not mesh with the current design for rogues.

I liked Sigrun marginally more than Oghren and Varric, but I wouldn't be opposed to a new dwarf companion.

It sounds counter-intuitive, but I'd actually be a little sad if there was a romancable dwarf lady, but no chance for a dwarf protagonist. My poor dwarven warden (pictured in avatar) was very lonely until he met Sigrun ... but alas ... she was unromancable ...

I'm against most returning characters even though I loved Varric and Oghrne both.

I'd like something new if we get a dwarf.... Someone not drinking all the time, retired honor guard perhaps. I'd like to try the 'honorable' dwarf for once.
