Assassin's Creed III

Though there's been past AC3 threads, I get the feeling I'm not supposed to rev them, SO-

Who's picking this game up? I've fully paid off my preorder for the regular edition from Gamestop along with its Season Pass.

Can't wait for new targets to use my hidden blades on. Oh, and tomahawks. And rope darts. And arrows. And swords. And axes. And pistols. And muskets. And OH YOU GET THE POINT.

I know just about nothing about AC3's multiplayer, I'm all for the singleplayer. Am I alone in this?

I'm looking forward to it but the marketing for it has me concerned that it's going to be bias.

They have said that there are Templars on both sides of the conflict. I think the marketing just appears that way because its just that- marketing.

You're likely correct. Marketing for any game just seems to worry me now.

And did I seriously misspell biased? <sigh>

Already ordered it on PS3 since Ubisoft wants to screw PC players yet again. I don't want to wait an entire month after console release to play it...=(

I have it preordered, and yes, I'm excited!

I just somehow have to finish Borderlands 2 pirate DLC (and get through my Mechromancer playthrough and TVHM), finish XCOM, and start Dishonored sometime before then.

Or...just start AC3 the day it comes out. Yeah, that's probably what I'll do. Can't wait!

I wasn't interested until I saw the ship combat. Now I'm definately getting it.

Only thing slowing me down is where I want to pre-order it from. I'd love the captain's outfit from Amazon, but also want Captain Kidd's sword. Or I can get the PC Digital Deluxe and get all the preorder goodies, but will have to wait a month. So indecisive.

All those preorder items are gonna be released down the line in DLC's anyway.

Going to pay me preorder off this weekend. I have no doubt it's going to be phenomenal, but I'm most interested in seeing how this story ends. They've been surprisingly tight-lipped about Desmond's role and why we're visiting Connor.

Well, apparently they said that AC isn't ending(duh, its a VERY successful franchise) but Desmond's story IS ending.

So really its all about how what we've seen in the modern day sci-fi portion goes.
