Plus he look just like Ezio .. Must be the super awesome assasin gene. You must look like Ezio.. Because you know all of my ancestor LOOK LIKE ME.

It's not that he looks like Ezio. Every character looks like Desmond because he's the one reliving the memories.

I read the ending and eh. I won't give details.

It won't garner ME3 levels of butthurt because there's no space-waifus at stake but it's still equally as bad.

I personally hated ME3's ending for literally pulling a god out of a machine in the last 10 minutes of the game.

...Please don't tell me that's what AC3 is gonna do?

...........Has the writing in the industry suddenly become replaced with talentless hacks? Why is it so hard to write a coherent, true to the lore ending?!

Don't worry, you don't get a space god suddenly appearing out of nowhere in AC3's ending.

You get two, one evil and one not so evil, and you don't get to choose which one to side with.

K, this is venturing awfully close into spoiler territory, and the game's not out for everyone yet. Please try to refrain from even vague spoilers.

Can anyone comment on the gameplay though? That's mostly why I play assassin's creed, story ain't that good imo.

Anyway, parkour in the woods...is it any good or too buggy to enjoy?

Gameplay is superior, this is the best AC game i have played. You are going to love The Frontier. Also shipsailing is very nice too.
Story is solid too, especially Connor's story, it also has a solid ending which satisfies.
After Connors ending, Desmond's ending seems just bad. Its done for further milking of the franchise i think. But its not bad as people claim at leat not as bad as ME3, DA2 or RAGE. People just couldnt find any other thing to complain i guess.

Thanks, this is reassuring. Considering that I didn't mind DA2's ending, I will remain positive about AC3 too :)

My only problem about the game is animals being a bit buggy. Stucking/immortal horses for example.
And there are some minor cutscene bugs like duplicate NPCs but really minor as i said. Encountered only 3 in my playthrough and 1 of them was clearly my fault :)

Going for %100 completion this weekend.

Really excited for this! I'm a big fan of the Assassin's Creed games. I'll be interested to see what AC3 is like, though I'll have to wait until Thursday as unfortunately my Mum is coming to visit on release day, and then at a friend's for the evening, haha. Looking forward to all the collectors edition goodies! :D

People are actually complaining about AC3 ending when the endings of the previous games became more atrocious and hilarious as the series progressed.

But I admit I cheered when Desmond stabbed Lucy.

Anyone who says AC3's ending is worse than ME3's has no idea what they are talking about. Ubisoft's only crime is blatantly pushing for future DLC, and while that is a bastard move, its vastly preferable to ME3's "look how deep our writing is and how little we are going to change it even though the fans are really displeased about it".

Besides, Desmond's story was pretty much an excuse plot for the rest of the game.

Yeah, i accept "clumsy" modern time stories of AC games if they mean more games like this :)
I want the next game in Asia pls Ubisoft.
