Sweet, thanks for the tips! I'll be trying them out this evening when I get home from work.milena87 wrote...
Yeah, I kept scanning those damn workers and couldn't understand either. Realization came last night when I kept scanning the same activity and the tutorial said something like "activity already scanned"...
I'm still at sequence 9, but I miss the same chest in Central Boston: I've read that it's inside a tavern, so it doesn't show on the map; I'm not sure which tavern is, though. I'll have to try tonight.
The Hunter's Society Cabin was a pain for me too: the only one I was able to find was east of the fort in Black Creek; just exit the fort and go east, there are 1-2 cabins on a little hill (there's usually a 2 men patrol in the area).
The hunting missions were almost all in the area around Black Creek, so it's easy to go back and forth
Anyway, I really like seeing the growing community at the Homestead and I'm losing myself in managing the convoys (I've got six now! Glad I didn't clear the naval routes for nothing) and seeing which type of product gives more money in return
Tonight I'll try to recover Kidd's trasure and finish other naval missions.
It's definitely awesome to see the Homestead shaping up. It used to feel pretty huge and barren, but with all the buildings in it, the feeling is much more cozy. I have a system for getting around in the Homestead, and it usually involves going to the closest fast travel point (at the bottom of the screen), turning around, running to the tree, doing a leap of faith, then running around to visit the settlers from there. It's kinda crazy, I know.
I have 3 convoys, but haven't done squat with them. The first one I tried got sacked, and I couldn't figure out exactly where it was to go protect it. Then last night, I realized I had a bunch of crafted crap sitting in inventory that I wanted to sell, so I gave it a shot. I think everything made it to the destination ok.
I just got Kidd's treasure last night. I picked up the sword on the first or second night that I played, but wasn't feeling terribly comfortable with the naval stuff until recently...didn't know that you wouldn't have to actually captain the ship for those missions. Derp.

Some of the 100% sync are so tedious, at least I thought so.
And also has anyone actually had a multi match? tried all saturday and sunday and nothing just the stupid tutorials.

Very easy money with little to no effort involved. You can buy the bear pelts from your hunter neighbor at the homestead too. Alternatively, more common wolf pelts also sell for a lot. In general, selling stuff through the convoys make it very easy to earn big money.

and have one stupid chest left. It's in Central Boston, and I can't freaking find it. I even bought the map, and it doesn't show up. Waa.
I believe I've found it for you.
In Sequence 12 you go into a tavern to talk to someone and on the second floor is a treasure chest.

See, I love helping people.

Connor's ending? Boss.
Desmond's ending? Not as bad as was said by others.
I felt there could've been a branching path choice there at the end. That would've been cool. Didn't happen though.

Cool, I'm still on sequence 9. So much to do. Glad you enjoyed the endings LPPrince. The game is shaping up as one of the best of this year. If not the best.
So far I'd say its one of my favorite games I've played this year.
Right up there with Borderlands 2.

Oh, as for what I'm doing right now- those infamously long credits.
Yeah no way to skip is annoying.
GOTY contender I'd say, although I have yet to play multiplayer.

Completed the Epilogue missions, which means now? Beacons.
If you got any side quests to do, nows the time until Tyrant King Washinton comes out. Otherwise you can enjoy the Godawful Wolfpack MP mode.

Yeah, this was my first impression. Mineveva shows you that cinematic of "what would happen" where it shows the next cycle basically repeating all the same mistakes and ignorance of our current cycle. So while it seems like that might have originally been a choice, it doesn't seem like a choice worth picking. Essentially, 6 billion people die so that the next cycle can make all the same mistakes.
As I thought about it a bit more, i reached the conclusion that Ubi was probably showing the player that outcome specifically so the player wouldn't wonder or want to know what they were missing.
Anyway, I am surprised people didn't like the ending. I thought it was quite well done. Everything Desmond is finally over and resolved. I didn't hate him as a character, but I am happy he is done being the protagonist. And he went out in a pretty good way, saving the world but unleashing Juno.
And really, there couldn't be future AC games with Desmond, when you consider the power he wields at Abstergo. Once you start walking around with the Apple and forcing dozens of guards to kill themselves, the gameplay component goes out the window. And they could take the apple away, but then they are just turning the AC series into a longer and repetitive scavenger hunt. I would prefer if future AC games didn't have to focus on finding ancient artifacts or keys, as that has been pretty exhausted plot arc from the start of the series.
