Can't wait to see how they handle Juno in the future.
edit: oh, 10/10 for me.

@Hawke. I personally liked Connor. The main antagonist is charismatic and a good balnce for the serious Connor. Connor's character really shines through in the optional missions called "Homestead Missions." The only bad thing I can say about the game is that the story is very slow at the begining. The antagonist sort of steals the show. Combat is superb, so is hunting and the various side missions. The Naval Warfare is absolutley brilliant. Hope you get the game it's awesome.

I do have to ask, what to people here think of Connor as a protagonist? I remember the developers saying they wanted to give more depth to the character this time, and making him a bit more serious. So did the manage to making him a well developed character? And was the antagonist memorable? And how was the overall story?
Sorry for the questions, trying to figure out whether to get this game or not, and these things I am interested in.
There are more ways to kill people once your Brotherhood gets new members(you get them by doing Liberation missions.)stonbw1 wrote...

I'm only in Seq 6, so this is not a spoiler, but one thing that has confused/disappointed me is the apparent lack of recourse in killing. Yes, I know the name of the game is assassins creed, but I remember the prior games having more consequence than just going around and killing everything that looks sideways at you. In the past, you would try to create diversions to distract guards or use other NPCs to help be sneaky and unseen. In this game, there just isn't much penalty or alternative for walking up and stabbing someone... which I don't particularly like. For whatever reason, I feel like a serial killer in this game with as many baddies as I've had to kill; I'd prefer to be stealthy and no quite so blood-lusty!
But otherwise, its a good game; I'm enjoying it and it is a very good value game since there is so much hunting/collecting/crafting one can do for hours.

www.youtube.com/watch A podcast with Noah Watts who voices Connor. It's interesting and shows another side to how Ubi selects voice actors. Spoilers for the Single Player story.

Connor is ok. I liked Ezio and yes, the original cocky, arrogant, confident Altair from the original. Connor is sometimes dry, and a tad naive, but is likable and very athletic. Fun to play as. A good person. It feels he is truly an initiate to the order. I enjoy the story, but I play AC for the gameplay freedom. The mechanics aren't my favorite, except counter moves. Offensive attacks are useless unless its a projectile.
