When I go to load the game through the icon in my start menu or by a shortcut I get this message "The application has failed to start because fmod_event.dll was not found. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem."
I have re-installed the game twice and I still get this message.
Does anyone know how I can fix it?
Icon issue.

Do you have one of the patches installed? Both 1.01 and 1.02 had a second version (1.01b and 1.02a) that fixed issues with the shortcuts.
