Hi,
I know this is kind of meaningless since bioware has gone and passed the idea of releasing more DLC/Expansions specifically for Dragon Age 2.
I know there's also a lot of money involved when trying to release a game that's decent in environment, combat or story telling but... Is it entirely out of the question?
I mean DA 3 is on the horizon but for instance if enough fans would want it and it their's enough demand for it aswell as a good milestone for each asset gained through possible funding, wouldn't it be worth trying?
Obsidian got with Project: Eternity 4 million, personally I wouldn't care if the DLC is specifically to enhance the story of your Hawke or DA 3 Antagonist/Narrator by means of having him talk in a segue sort of scenario with the DA 3 Main or Follower character (Could be a character that's also from DA 2 transitioning to DA 3).
So that the player can put finishing touches on his or her story.
It's optional, maybe it doesn't even have to be a DLC maybe a prelude attached to the DA 3.
I just feel so left in the dark which is good but also makes me nervous that I'll have to start from scratch with my DA 1 and/or 2 games.
Personally I'd appreciate this simply because I felt robbed of my choice for who my Hawke was supposed to be, what I love about your RPGs is that it let's you be who you want to be and nothing else.
The 2 DLCs really helped me flesh out more what and who Hawke is and with the ending of DA 2 still the way it is I just don't know who my Hawke is.
Anyway...
This doesn't only apply to DA 2 but any Bioware game, I don't believe it has to be exaggerated it can just have necessary components and/or characters.
Greetings,
Mr. Grumpy.
About possibilities of making additional DLC through Kickstarter.
