I sent a message to Eric Fagnan about this, and he replied "Thanks for the suggestion"; no idea if that means anything, but... well, let's hope he passes it on to the DLC guys. Though it's most likely a long shot.

 I like it. The costume color combos would be hilarious. That voice in hot pink armor lol. Plus I want dominate in MP.

I expect a lot of people to make theirs look like Harbinger, with dark blue armor and yellow eyes. Or at least, that's what I would do...

Needs a brand new Collector-themed power in place of Throw or Singularity. Perhaps something like:

Biotic Swarm: plague an enemy with biotically-enhanced Seeker Drones. Slows movement speed, stifles power-use, and increases damage taken. Swarm dissipates if target is killed.



Beyond that, I would kill for playable Collectors, Leviathan or not.

Why? We know leviathan's possess reaper troops, it seems perfectly plausible.

I'd like to think the Leviathan's would be reckless with the character since they are enemy troopers, so I'd like a skill set that is reflective of that. Powers that trade barrier for attacks, or cause selfharm at the same time.

Biotic Dash
Collector Blade (Light Melee)
Barrier Pulse (Heavy Melee)
Regeneration (Character Trait)
Ancient Technology (Character Trait)
Leviathan's Wrath (Voice Set)

Collector Web
Barrier is sacrifised to contruct a collector web. Acts as deployable shield, that when enemys attempt to walk through, will slow down there advance while adding a damage over time effect. Can be improved to increase slowing effect, add more strength, or improve damage over time effect.

Seeker Swarm
Health is sacrifised to emit Seeker Swarms from ones body. Swarms use a paralizing agent to slow down and periodically paralize the enemy while causing damage over time. Can be improved to increase paralizing agent strength or increase damage. Can be improved to sacrifise swarms to cause a tech explosion.

I think it's all a great idea; playing enemy forces would further extend the lifespan on multiplayer, and the Leviathan DLC all makes it non-lore-breaking. I'm all for it!

I'd be really disappointed if the Leviathan's "influence" was only recognized in SP (truthfully, it's not like their discovery had massive ramifications in the overall war, anyhow, due to the nature of the "War Assets").

Multiplayer is a great front for realizing all of the war assets. I'm already anticipating some sort of Merc Forces MP DLC following Omega, and if that were to happen I think Leviathan Thralls are equally feasible.

Personally, I wouldn't play as a Marauder just because he's so freaking ugly, but for those who want him...

I just want him to honor the one who died for our peace of mind.

Anyway, probably some sort of "mode" taking advantage of the Reaper tech, an ability that reinforces ally's defenses, and some other power for sure

Eh, doesn't excite me and seems really unplausable. Maybe make them Protheans and your cooking with gas. Collectors are a slave race completely dominated by the reapers so it would be hard to do. Protheans yes, collectors no. If they added them I wouldn't complain but I wouldn't go out of my way to play to unlock them.
Edit: sorry didn't see the part about leviathan. Makes more sense but I see protheans happening before collectors. Again they seem a little more viable, but who knows I thought my dream of playing as a volus would never happen.
