If so, why on earth all the (often) heated calls for nerfing? The game has so many characters now that vary in playability (i.e., some are more difficult to play successfully than others). Isn't this diversity balance enough?

Either way if it does get nerfed, I just hope they hit only the Turian Ghost version. It would be a shame for another character to take a hit they don't deserve just because another character is too good with one weapon.

They are all valid, no matter how much you would like to deny them. I can use an Argus instead of the Harrier, still owns.
As far as stunlock, if you are unskilled enough to get caught in it all the time and not dodge for cover or something else, no power is going to save you.
He is the easiest because you can refresh shieldgate and get bonus shields AT WILL, then simply refill ammo.
His orginal argument for uniqueness is weak. I am not saying remove AR bonuses from him, but that he is overpowered with stims.
Of course he can be killed, so can a Kroguard if you botch something.
I didn't say it was optimum to use the stims whenever, but the option is there. Get caught in a corner and taking a ton of damage, stim. Still taking damage as you run away, stim. Hit ammo box, repeat.
The simplest way to fix the issue would be to put a cooldown on how often he can use stims or remove the grenade+ gear from affecting the total number.

I've seen bad ghosts fail on gold. You're giving way too much credit to the kit's ability to carry someone.
Btw, a character being popular =/= a character being overpowered.
A character being overpowered can lead to a character being popular.
It's pretty much the 'square can be a rectangle, but a rectangle can't be a square' deal.

Actually, you can't refresh your shield gate at will.
It has a cooldown and even if you use a stimpack after hitting shield gate enemies can shoot through to your hp while it's still on cooldown.

1st - you play on xBox.
2nd - soon you will get your own nerfbox forum section.
3rd - what is actually your problem with the Turian Ghost on xBox?
4th - do not call for nerfs and buffs while playing on xBox or yBox, when playing ME3 MP on PC you are welcome to make suggestions for nerfs or buffs.
5th - to be seen...
6th - TGI and even worse THS are solalalu characters, far away from owerpowered, they "look" cool, had a good concept for powers+movement, thats all far away from op.
7th - GI, Fury, Drell´s and the new AVS, if you call one of these op, I could say well they "can" have a nice damage output..

Everyone plays with him because he's the best character in the game.
His reasoning is because the kit makes him lazy and complacent. The kit also urges him not to fix that about his playing.
Doesn't matter much to me if the kit gets nerfed in some way (hell, I used to be a sniping fiend, and got over the cloak nerfs pretty damn fast. No I never played a GI to this day.). I've even suggested stimpacks may be too strong when specced for more durability. What bugs me is his reason for why it should. It's not logical, yet he stands by it.

The Turian Ghost is limited in the fact that he has to run back for stim packs each time he runs out. Most enemies these days take down your shield with one hit anyway, so really, how long can a stim pack last?

I guess if you play the game all the time, you probably get that many stim packs...but my guess is most people don't. I currently have two (yeah, I'm awesome like that). Also, EVERY time I run back for ammo, the thing is empty, and I have to run across the map to the next ammo box, fighting enemies every step of the way...so yeah. If you play often enough to have 35 stim packs, then you're just an overpowered player, and you need to be nerfed.
Everybody that's anybody that has been playing this multiplayer from start to now (which most people have) will have at least a cerberus harrier one and grenade capacity 5 is pretty much guaranteed. So no, that arguement doesn't fit well either.
If you don't i'm sorry, this nerf will probably ruin your experience with this character and my deepest apologies. But it has been ruining my experience with the mutiplayer for a while. And i'm pretty sure people that have been playing for a while are pretty dumbed down by this guy as well.

EDIT: no, I'm not using him on regular basis, in fact even if I don't agree that is OP I find his play pattern quite boring.
