If people can farm it, it gets buffed/changed.
If its a good character but used for farming, it gets nerfed.
Like Cerberus Dragoons and Geth bombers. Overpowered cover busters with ridiculous abilities designed to make you run the hell away, so you cannot farm.
Because farming is obviously whats wrong with the game, not the fact theres exactly one game mode. Or the random ass store.

Destroyer and Demolisher nerf is the final nail in the coffin of ME3.Bioware wants to see only good players.Average players have no chance in gold/platinum now.Was demolisher that powerful?.strange...........
I'm pretty sure Bioware only intended good players to pass gold and platinum from the start of the game's life.
that's really sad if it's true.
I don't know where the developer post is, but it went something like this:
Bronze is for new players who would like to get familiarized with the game. Players who are starting right off the bat and have never played a ME game before will be lucky to get past wave 3.
Silver is meant for the average veteran players who have gotten accustomed to the game and has a decent inventory.
Gold is meant for the skilled or best of players who have the best of items and equipment. Not meant for your average gamer.
Platinum is only for those who seek the greatest challenge this game has to offer. The best of equipment and the best of items is definately recommended for those who want to pass.
These difficulties have always been like this and were always intended to be like this ever since the game's release.
It makes sense, because what would be the point of higher difficulties if even an average player could beat them with ease? In fact, they wouldn't be called gold and platinum if this were the case. It's simple. Stay in your difficulty range until you increase your skills and get better. If average players are only playing gold and platinum to get credits, then they are playing for the wrong reason. No one needs level X of every weapon in the game to be successful.
Edit: Besides, as long as the game has a microtransaction system, Bioware will never make the game too easy for average players.

BTW, the Bombers are WAY to strong for lil things that are meant to be broken. Either nerf their sheilds or armor, but nerf them and the Prime's perfect shot and then I won't complain.

Err...why? The hardest difficulties on games are supposed to require good players. That's the whole point of having higher difficulty settings.

The Demolisher nerf took me by surprise. Really out of left field, that one.
And why?
She never felt overpowered. Her supply pylon is slow enough as it is on Gold and Platinum and replacing the pylon every 18 seconds or so isn't always feasible, especially if you are playing with a highly mobile team.
The same with the Destroyer. He has his limitations and there might be only a handful of guns that allow him to wreck maps and take names.
All of this is so silly.
I don't even recall seeing any complaints about the Demolisher on these boards.

I would really like to know if anyone in the past weeks complained about the Pylon spawning ammo too fast or the DM being too OP. The only things I saw are:
- Collectors using an abnormal damage reduction that no other faction uses;
- Geth Pulse Rifle being powerful as a watergun;
- Dragoons being annoying;
- Geth being nothing but stunlocking douchebags;
- Standard Turians needing some more mobility.
Did they do anything about these issues? NO.
And yet they claim to be listening to what the community suggests...
From the bottom of my heart... **** you, Bioware. You ****ing liars and hypocrites.

Devastator mode nerf was totally called for. The Destroyer outclasses his companions due to a mix of marksman, adrenaline rush AND additional bonuses AND the whole thing was permanent PLUS he got 1000 base shields AND stagger immunity.

They still don't have the skill/time/care to fix the shadow's shadow strike on atlas either. I really would have liked to see that fixed.
I wonder... do you know what is the process behind applying patches?

These changes were neither needed nor wanted. The revelation that this game is balanced around Bronze/Silver is very disturbing.

You do realize that it costs nearly $40,000 for every developer to launch a patch for every game on the Xbox 360 and PS3 right? And the Shadow Strike bug cannot be fixed with a balance change, since it is a technical issue, not a numerical one. Which is why Bioware makes sure to address as many bugs as possible in each patch before releasing them.
It will take some time before that is fixed.

enough is enough!
After using the class in multiple Platinum matches last night, I have to say that the Demolisher debuff isn't a big deal if you or your team sticks close to an ammo box. I haven't played the Destroyer post nerf, but the lowered ammo capacity seems fairly significant.

They are probably changing these kinds of things to make getting credits harder. I will NEVER buy PSPs with "real" money or BWPs so stop screwing with stuff that is not broken and fix what is like.....
shadow strike on some enemies
the vault glitch where you try to vault and the animation happens but you don't vault
ect.
ect.
ect.
