Devastators and Demolishers synergize scary well, yes. I would have been OK with the ammo nerf and the Pylon buff nerfs in isolation, to tone down this synergy. Less weapon damage and less ammo for the Devastator buddy. However, the grenade nerf in addition is too much.
What's a Demolisher to do, when there's a pretty good chance to have 2 other grenade or stim-pack using chars in the same lobby? Before at least you could spare a couple every now and then. Now, Demolishers are probably going to be dead weight 1/3 of the time (or a guaranteed ammo-pack junkie). Hump your supply pylons, folks, because heaven forbid someone else gets your 'nades!
When I played a Demolisher well, before the nerf, I would run out on occasion. Now this class has built-in downtime or an intentional consumable sink. No other class is so hamstrung.
The Devastator nerfs, well, maybe. IF and ONLY IF there are powerful new weapons coming to MP in the near future, that the current Devastator Mode would really break. But there was no reason to nerf the Devastator's grenade intake. None at all.

Like I was suspecting, I played some rounds with the demolisher and I didn't notice a special shortage of grenades, in some hectic rounds I used ammo packs BUT this is nothing new, it happened to me before the so called "nerf".
Let the devs balance the game, the childish mantra "don't touch my toys" doesn't make games.
