They agreed to the use of the Crucible without knowing what it would even do, thus they consented to Synthesis which for all the galaxy knows what the Crucible's purpose was all along.

Shepard dies in all endings (I don't consider the "Breath Scene" Shepard surviving), so why not go out both saving and enhancing all life the galaxy

Shepard dies in all endings (I don't consider the "Breath Scene" Shepard surviving), so why not go out both saving and enhancing all life the galaxy

Which is another problem some people have the endings, not a real option for Shepard to live

And for the other part, Its a dangerous risk and not that many people trusts the leader of the Reapers

I see what you mean about people getting mad about no surviving option. As for the rest, they trust him about the Destroy or Control options, so why not Synthesis?

Well, that's what it is, whether you personally count it or not.

Has there been confirmation that Shepard lives in high EMS Destroy? Not trying to fight,  just curious. If there is, I'll consider Shepard surviving that ending.

Well personally I don't trust anything he says, but for some I guess they liked Destroy because it kills the Reapers and Control I guess they wanna headcannon sending the Reapers into the sun.

Synthesis is what the Catalyst wanted since it stated the cycles of killing races, which kills the trust with that

Easter Egg? In all seriousness, I remember them saying it's up to the player's interpretation but never stated straight out that Shepard lives or dies.

To be ambiguous and make people use their imagination or to be get people to buy their DLCs to get more to the scene

When the EC was released, they confirmed that Shepard actually does live in the Destroy ending.

... And then they changed their minds. Again. Some time later, they started saying that it's open to the player's interpretation.

Well since it literally says in the game files and the Offical game guide that "Shepard lives" in High EMS destroy I'm going with that means yes. Shepard lives.

The cycle isn't destroyed though, they are enhanced. Only in Refuse, and synthetics in Destroy as well, is this cycle destroyed.

I like Synthesis. Personally I'm fine with people not liking it but what I find annoying is how some people throw all this head canon at it to justify hating on it.
