No hypocrisy there. You're using what I said out of context. Like I said, It's just my opinion on why some people may or may not choose synth or control, and I stand by it.
There's a big difference between that and some of the posts I've seen by you attacking individual posters for their beliefs.
edit: Also, it's easy for you to pick that one post out of the many other things I've said on this forum. Selective attention much.
Jade!
We all have bad and good days, different moods. Sometimes we behave like jerks or are more selfish and arrogant, other times more tolerant and nice. That's it. Not a big deal. No one's an exception, not you, not me, nor anybody else. It's human.
Behaving like a human is not a bad thing. Behaving constantly like some higher being or a jerk is more of a problem. But there are very few examples of that here, thankfully.
I'm not giving you the gun!
There is a big difference to how someone may behave on good days and bad days in real life as opposed to how they may behave on the internet. If people don't think there is, than in my opinion they are either immature or like to abuse the power of anonymity. Because when it comes down to it, you have a lot more time to calculate and think about what you are going to say in a post on the internet than you do in real life. This limits the "heat of the moment" excuse somewhat which probably allows for a more intellectual discussion than what we'd see in real life also.
It's also important to remember that even though you may be hiding behind a screen name, writing/typing something down is much more permenant than speech irl is. As Brovikk just displayed.
On my bad days in real life, yes I have accidently said things that I've regretted and sometimes that unintentionally causes offense with other people.
On my bad days here, I swear in my posts, not at anyone of course and most of it is bleeped anyway. But the thing I never do is attack individual posters personally or say things that might cause offense like I might do IRL. I know what it feels like to be bullied, and looking back on it now, I'm glad I experienced that because I know just how important acting responsibly is to earn respect.
