I miss the explosive barrels from ME 1 and 2. The ground is lava/acid would be really cool. Also, Hazards that only affect the players are no fun, I want to see the enemies affected, too.
Hazard map brainstorming. Think of the most hazardous hazard you can. (Guys, Dis Is Bad A** S***.)

It needs to be a hazad that is less exploitable, and more..... Random.

snow hazard that actually is a hazard.
lower visibility, more snow entrances blocked by snow drifts...
high wind chill -52 C
acts like cyroblast slows movement, weakens defences of allies and foe...
and has howling wind.
does damage over time if outside.
inside have a few heaters proped around in corners and on desks...

this is the multiplayer stuff i have wanted since day one. problem is fail shop . no more draw to kill box cant wait hope they sort fail shop soon im bored with geth cerberus and reapers want to test my justicar vs collectors.. i love mass effect but its like ive been barred from the best goodies. and if some of my friends fighting collectors i cant join which sucks ... if any one can help would be apreciatated since leviathon i cant axcess any new dlc.

You get in the match with certain "OP" characters and silhouettes walk and run past all creepily while quoting threads and posts from the masses of BSN such as..
"Destoyer is OP with PPR get good.."
"You're using a Ghost? You bring great shame upon Condor."

Condor: Dust tornado... similar to the ball of electricity on glacier, and dust tornado flies around the maps making visiibility low and does damage (Think glacier meets dagger)
Hydra: The circle room has a button that MUST be pushed every 30/45/60 (scaled to difficulty) seconds or the map explodes. In essence, players will have no choice but to always be wary of that button
Jade: Tropical storm with lightning strikes from the sky that damage players. Think Final Fantasy X with the lightning field
Goddess: Pitch black except for a roaming strobe light that randomly moves around the map. Darker than Giant, literally you can't see ANYTHING other than what's around that light
Rio: Heavy Winds... so strong that you get moved standing still and your bullets, along with enemy bullets are pushed because of the wind conditions. Your shots no longer travel in a straight line
Vancouver: Frozen storms. There will be warmers and heaters around the map, that you need to activate during the match to prevent shields and health from freezing up, but you must keep turning them on since they will jam from the cold.
London: 10 waves of hacks in the center floor spots. Most dangerous mission ever! Top that hazard!

Hazard Condor: Random harvester appears, dealing damage to the players. The harvester can be killed (when he dies he makes a big boom, dealing a lot of damage to every target inside a 10 meters radius).
Hazard Jade: Cerberus Harrier appears randomly. Same concept as the harvester.
Hazard Hydra: Geth Colossus dropsin the middle of the map randomly. Again,same concept.

In the vicinity of such a drone the players have to be silent (no reloading, power activation, moving [apart from sneaking] etc...) and should get into cover to not be detected when the drone starts scanning. If someone makes too much noise, several drones in the vicinity fly to that position and start to scan aggressively.
If someone gets detected an enemy raid will start / or the drone is hunting this player with it´s cone of light, enemies show up and re focusing on the player(s) in the scan cone(s). The undetected players can be detected by enemies (and of course drones) if they get too close.
(These drones can be shot, but it alerts other drones and if it isn´t done very fast the drone detects you)

Clouds of gas vented from ceiling ducts on primarily indoor maps (such as glacier, white, reactor, etc), or from ground vents on other maps (like ghost, vancouver, or dagger) that prime ALL types of detonations on enemies, but drain shields and then poison health of players who pass through them. There would be a residual DOT effect that would prevent shields from recharging on players.

On hydra or another map, I would like to see that underground thresher maw appear. On certain parts of the maps, maybe giant tentacles and knock people over or instant kill them
