You still do not get it buddy, its about having packs giving you your shields plus more with a huge weapon boost, neither of those guys have that. They go down to almost 0 health, they run to hide or die

the ghost takes his superman bar and is back with his cloak to take down anything

its like having 4 extra lives per round with a huge damage output

 

The Kroguard has a charge that he can use every 4 seconds or so. It damages and staggers/knocks down enemies, gives him a boost to power or weapon damage and gives him his entire barrier back. That's 4500 barrier with a cyclonic 4. He also has DR from Barrier and is immune to stagger.

Why are you not calling for the Kroguard to be nerfed?

because it has already been said by Bioware, they are looking into him....he will be chaged soon, very soon

The problem with nerfing the Ghost is that the only way of nerfing him is nerfing the Assault Rifle bonus from rank 6 TC evo.

If you nerf stim packs, you're also nerfing the Havoc Soldier, whom is completely balanced.

Does the OP play any platinum games? Seriously. You cannot moan about wanting a character nerfed unless you're playing on the highest difficulty and are still finding it stupidly easy. Which is isn't. I would be tempted to say Platinum was easy until the recent updates and DLC. It's a good challenge now. I don't use the TG, btw. Not my kinda character. But you're bloody daft if you want a character nerfed and you're not even playing on the highest difficulty.

What I am saying is to simply make the class balanced, it does get advantages over the rest which it should not have

Plat with a good team with balances classes is doable as well, sure sometimes you fail but it is Plat after all!

Best way is to go for his TC to start off with? is that not different than the rest since it has a unique rank 6?

They have to do something, I know they will, they are probably thinkig of ways right now

Tweaking the soldier may work, nerf the packs, boost his Strike attack? boost cyro blast slightly as well?

I am sure there are ways

For once I'd like to see a nerf thread where the argument isn't "Hey look this guy is too powerful and everyone who uses him sucks." but "It's ruining my fun now, they're killing everything too damn fast for me to do anything in the game."
(I'm assuming this is what it was like with the previous GI and Krysae? I never saw it first hand but I've heard stories.)

Personally I have no problems with it. If others want to use it? Fine, it doesn't affect me unless I choose it to. They're enjoying themselves, I am not going to be that old man who calls the police at 9PM just because that parties music is too loud.

He isn't a problem unless you choose it to be.

Dude it has noutttt to do with points, I said why earlier, its his huge weapon output which does lead to points but that is natural and his superman packs making him near immortal, it is simply not balanced. it can survive easily by using a pack and getting out of there

or Pack, Tc, shoot and repeat, no matter what, unless insta killed, you win.

One of my Fav guys is the Volus, I am a huge fan, points is not something on Plat I care about. I don't know why but I care that classes are balanced, which is why I am hoping it will be sooner rather than later

idk why people even post in here anymore... its just lfc19titles trolling.

people have said over and over there are other classes with similar survivability/damage.
there are other classes with far more damage potential (pretty much any SR infiltrator). TG is not even unique as an infiltrator in having a shield boost (SI have that plus damage reduction).

other infils have party wide damage increases via nades or tac scan. or nades with huge aoe.

they had to give TC a duration bonus for TG because unlike SR which fire their shot in a couple seconds ARs get their damage over time.
