Yeah, my current favorites are the Ghost, Volus Adept, and Paladin. I just got the Volus Engineer and Asari Sentinel last night, I haven't got to try them yet. Playing as a Volus is incredibly rewarding if you can help your team out.

The thing I don't get is, the Turian Ghost isn't a kit for everyone, so nerfing it only hurts the people who enjoy it. Overload isn't the most popular power in the world (although it's a good one), and his Tactical Cloak enhances assault rifles, which have been an underpowered weapon class up to this point (UR rifles nothwithstanding).

The stim pack is powerful, I'll admit; I won't cry if they give it a SLIGHT nerf. But seriously, what is the point in nerfing all the characters until their individual strengths are gone? The Demolisher sucks as a class if you're not camping (or have all the ammo boxes on the map to yourself), and yet it's been nerfed so that the one thing it had going for it (grenades) is less effective. The Destroyer is a great class, but absolutely terrible if you like to be able to manuever at all, which is why I thought his firepower was justified. Apparently not.

The problem is, there are plenty of characters that can make a gun or two awesome; that neither makes the class broken, nor does it make the gun broken. Everyone on the pro-nerf side of the Ghost issue has been arguing that a Ghost with a Harrier X will kill all--What WON'T kill all with a Harrier X, and how many people actually HAVE one? Sure, there are people lucky enough (I've got a Scorpion VII, so I at least have a great go to weapon for a couple characters) to have a high level Harrier or PPR, but this isn't the norm, and thus shouldn't be treated as such.

It won't be people getting tired of playing this game that makes them leave. it'll be the cry babies that want everything nerfed. I am pretty sure half of can't even beat platinum collectors with the classes you're crying about being OP.

Consider that 100 plat games per day are successful (random number)

with this nerf, that would be reduced but a decent amount, it must be done to balance the game

Because for example, if those two classes did not exist, less matches would be completed, the only reason so many are done is because those 2 are OP

You don't have to be a sklilled gamer with the ghost, plat was meant to be the ultimate test, instead you have 2 classes making the level easier

a little nerf to both to get them down to the same level as other classes would balance it, if people can still do plat with the nerf, then fair do, they deserve it

but not with mad OP classes

Is your point only the elite should be able to complete Gold and Platinum games consistently and anyone who doesn't complete a Platinum game with a Predator is a noob. 

Go stick your settings on private match and bugger off.

If people are skilled enough to play GI with minimal shields then they are going to rip through anything whatever difficulty, simply because the sheer damage they can deal given that specific set up. However I've played with GI who spent half the game face down on the floor. So please tell them the class is OP.

Same with the Ghost. Everyone on Gold and Platinum has a Harrier/PPR/Sabre ? Well most of us do, but silver and bronze? No they don't and some on gold don't have it either. The only reason the Ghost is consistently used is it actually makes the crappy assault rifles useable on higher difficulty settings. Nerf Tac cloak again, and everyone will just dump the assault rifles and move back to snipers which have been rebuffed and the next class. Probably Fury or the Turian sol and Kroguard (especially given the ever increasing damage buffs the T. Sol is being given) and the Dev nerf wasn't exactly bad was it.

Yes they are. Please point out to me which character isn't supposed to be an enemy killing machine except the Volus. The Salarian Engineer? Tech Bursting/Fire Exploding monster with the ability to recharge his own shields... The Human Engineer? Same thing except better at shield stripping.

Also... get over the crowd control... a dead mook will always be better than a controlled mook... always. Killing > Crowd Control.

To be honest... I used to spew the exact same drivel you're spewing at me now, except I was spewing it at Godless_Paladin. Over time... my mind changed, he was right. The same stuff I just said to you, is about verbatim what he said to me.

So you... get over yourself and realize that there is NO SUPPORT characters in ME3 MP... they are all designed to kill enemies... except the Volus.

Read what you said, you are saying it is ok for 2 classes to be better than the rest. No, that is incorrect, to balance out the classes fairly, you should not have 2 are vastly better

All classes bar the volus are meant to kill, correct, well done. That still has nothing to do with this, stay on topic please, it is about 2 classes being astonishingly overpowered

that is the point, they deal too much damage compared to other classes, they can take out a banshee in 10-20 seconds, what other class can that none

neither were designed to do that, therefore it needs to be balanced

Seems those not happy are the ones who run around in plat in nothing but those two classes, I know you are afraid that you won't be able to play plat without them but honestly, practice makes perfect, you will learn to become a better player with balanced classes

Oh come on, okay, you are the king. But by far the majority of us players are not 'professionals" like you with the reflexes of a 15 year old. Then there is also lags. If you are off host, there is no way you can solo a banshee coming at you (with another banshee and host of other enemies) in 10 seconds. Unless it is distracted by another player.

I like the GE better then the GI. Dont have the ghost so i probably wont see a difference if he gets nerfed before i get him.

I agree stop nerfing classes and instead figure out ways to use the class you like better. Its not that hard it just requires time and patience thats all. I'm honestly surprised no one has figure this out yet.

I swear most people on BSN are masochist, Nerf two of the better classes, one of which is a marshmallow and the other's race wasn't all that great without a decent gun and had no mobility until now. Everyone keeps trying to tailor MP to their liking, just let Bioware decide what direction they're taking the game. Elitist want nerfs, casuals want buffs, the rest don't care LOL

I never understood why they changed Tactical Cloak to 4 seconds.

I thought it should have been 6 seconds base, the duration evolution to 100% (making it 12 seconds), and the damage bonus would be 25 or 30%

Unless Bioware specifically comes down against GIs, they will be difficult to nerf without hurting other classes.
