I would like if my companions aren't hardcore extremist like in DA2.

I'm going to throw my hat in the ring of those who want deeper, more meaningful dialogue/relationships with the party members. It doesn't have to be all of them, but considering these people are spending so much time with you, risking their lives with you on some grand quest, there would be close bonds formed.
I'd also like to see the party members have their own choices/decisions to make (like in Origins with hardening and in ME ((whether or not Garrus kills Sidonis, etc)), and their relationships affected by any growing/changes the party members may go through, like in Origins if you hardened Leliana or Alistair, they're not going to say/do the same exact things they would if they weren't hardened.

i just want them to be compelling. i love compelling, whether extremism occurs or not.
and they must have very, very good party banter with each other, as always. if i don't end up taking two characters out for a walk with each other, just to see what they'll say to each other next, then something will be seriously wrong.
