They're not gone, they just won't happen as freqquently, though we get these smaller ones every week, so I think it's an upgrade overall.

Because the blog post specifies "cumulative?"

But as others have also pointed out, that could mean either cumulative between the multiple N7 weapons in one match, or cumulative aross all matches during the weekend, or anything between.

I see ur point that cumulative could mean 'cumulative when more than one N7 promo weapons is used in a single game.'

but judging by the trends from recent weekend ops, it likely means 50k points total, playing as many matches as it takes.

of course I could be completely wrong. but I wouldn't have to guess if BW would simply post the challenge clearly. it's almost as if they're trying to frustrate us by being intentionally vague. its the same exact questions that get asked every single weekend op. please just tell us exactly what we need to do. no ambiguity. no pretending that you haven't read our reactions to your announcement.

I love you bioware but when u post something like this, nobody in the office reads it and says, " hey this is rather vague, they're gonna ask if it needs to be done in a single match, or if it can be completed by adding the score from multilple matches?." the use of the word cumulative is not properly defined.

not to bite the hand that feeds, but c'mon nobody saw this as being a problem?

I loved the N7 Valkyrie AR in SP but was only feasible when upgraded to level X. I hope they decrease the weight of the weapon, tho

I understand what you are saying. I do however expect N7 Bounties to get harder as they work out the kinks. The Krogan challenge looked simple, but my guess is that the challenge was more internally to the Bioware staff to ensure everything worked.. which it didin't, initially. So they are still working the kinks out.

Once that is done, I expect more exotic challenges, and inevitably that means some will fail. So.. yeah. Odds aren't getting better.

Not to say I won't go bang bang virtually, of course. I just sigh, shake my head and get the job done the best I can.

My perspective is as follows: The odds of not taking part in the Krogan operation is there if you started recently but is also a bit of a luck draw. Granted, with the big number of kits these days and the relatively low number of Krogan kits...

However, the odds of not being able to take part in this operation is 100% if you have never taken part in one before. So your friends, who just started and without a Krogan, faces a double exclusion this week if they have no N7 weapons from previous challenges. A double whammy isn't something I like to foist on newcomers.

Yeah, this.  Even though I participated in the last operation and I will be able to participate in this one, it sucks for the newbies.  I'm grateful for these promotions--I know Bioware doesn't have to do them at all...but throw the newbies a bone.  Something.

Not liking how the Valkyrie AR will be a Commendation weapon, not liking it all.

With the fact that it's hard to get those guns, especially the gun you desire, the Valkyrie rifle won't even be useful to most players unless it's level X.

This is gonna be easy with my Crusader IV on an N7 Destroyer (the latest nerf only drops my effective magazine size by 1 shot). He can really make the Crusader dance compared to the other classes I've used it with so far. I only need one solo Bronze mission to get the challenge.

I hope I get the Valkyrie in my next Commendation Pack this weekend to round out my N7 weapons (Hurricane I, Eagle II, Valiant III, Crusader IV). It would be a great addition to my assault rifles (can't seem to get a Typhoon or Harrier to match with my Destroyer, but I do have the Particle Rifle I and Saber I).

Already am, got it at game launch from Gamestop. 

I wasn't a fan of it in the campaign as it only has a 2-round burst and a completely insane muzzle climb. It does less damage than the Harrier and has a smaller clip too, but a higher max ammo capacity. 

Not sure it's worthy of Commedendation pack status, thusly.

Okay, I skimmed through, and I don't think anyone from BioWare answered this question...

Do you have to get all 50K in one match, or can it be spread over several missions?

And before anyone ELSE makes a snarky comment about the announcement saying "cumulative", just let me say that it is ambiguous. The announcement speaks of using multiple weapons. This would not necessarily have to be in different missions, as you could carry two N7 weapons during the same mission. So, the "cumulative" bit could refer to this possibility--and ONLY this possibility. I doubt it...but you never know.

Either way, it's not a difficult challenge, but a little clarification would be appreciated.

Hmmm...actually, come to think of it, it's either an extremely easy challenge--or a wholly impossible one. Fortunately it will be the former for me, so I'm not complaining...

God, we need something difficult, not this one. Eagle, Hurricane, etc. is nothing special, it's hard to find anyone who is using it on gold/plat regularly.

This has been the case with every game, ever. Exclusive items with pre-order, but they are only exclusive for a certain amount of time. Some will even charge a few MS points for the pre-order items sometimes. Or, did you buy the game just for the Valkyrie?

As I use the Hurricane every day with my Turian Sentinel, this should not be too much of a problem to complete.
