People keep saying this is unfair to new players, but I can't remember the last time I've seen new players. Even in bronze matches, everyone I encounter has a triple digit N7 rank.

I really think that they should issue 2 N7 promo weapon cards per commendation pack from now on. There's too many N7 gun levels.

This has been the case with every game, ever. Exclusive items with pre-order, but they are only exclusive for a certain amount of time. Some will even charge a few MS points for the pre-order items sometimes. Or, did you buy the game just for the Valkyrie?

You also get one every weekend now as opposed to every second weekend.

Guys, I don't think this is what they meant when they said, "We want the Valkyrie in Multiplayer!" Personally, just hope it doesn't become my new Eagle. (The thing keeping me from having a Hurricane III and up.)

Otherwise, easy peasy. Wine and cheezy.

I just hope that another challenge will be something really like... challenge. It's quite easy to do something like "they don't use some N7 weapons, we make them". I know it's not easy, but maybe it's time to think about something else - PvP?

From what I understand, any combination of N7 Weapons (save the N7 Typhoon) will unlock the trophy...

I would love to know the chain of logic that got Bioware to do this. Unless I just suck terribly at this game, which I've been playing since, y'know, launch, I would imagine that there's a good number of players that don't have N7 weapons. Thus this challenge weekend is... pointless in the extreme.

EDIT: And then I read up a bit and see a reply about how "everyone" has triple-digit N7 scores. So yeah, it's just me being suck and terrible at games as usual. Disregard, carry on.

I just made a solo testrun on bronze (Jade, Reapers) with a Krogan Soldier + Hurricane. Anyone can do it, really!
Soldier specced entirely for weapon damage + protection. Not a single point into Carnage, not a single point spent on anything for melee (since I didn't want to melee), I did spec grenades as an oh-chips button, but I never needed it.
Spec: http://masseffect3.p...3....,,:4...,,,

Weapon Mods: HV Barrel + Ammo
Gear: Barrage Upgrade
Consumables: Drill ammo (but AP will work fine), cyclonic modulator, SMG Rail Amp.

First round: activate Fortification, never turn it off again.

Your shields are basically off the charts now, you can take 3 Ravager hits and still be shielded!
Now the idea is to only use your Hurricane to kill things. Yes, even the Brutes and Banshees! You'll want to keep your distance from those, but ideally, you'll kill them using your hurricane. No need to press any other buttons than your movement/aim controls, firebutton and reload. Okay, three husks grabbed me into forced melee to escape them, but basically: you can't die, you kill everything with your Hurricane and can work your way through the waves upto extraction for about 100,000 points on your endscore. A couple of those are from doing objectives and getting medals, but still, that's all the points you'll need for the operation from 1 single game.

I'm sure it's possible to do on other classes, but this is definitely the easiest (not the fastest, not the best, just the easiest) class to do it with. Anyone who was ever worried about making a solo run can try it out with this setup.

I hope the MP version of the Valkyrie has been buffed. A lot.

I've never had the gun in SP, but the description and the stats make it look horrendous.

I know, just being helpful to those who do have doubts about doing this challenge, because of time or doubts they rack in enough points, while they may have the guns. Usually, the advice to those wanting to solo something is to start out with a Krogan Vanguard.
But with this challenge, the Krogan Soldier is more ideal, and it's an uncommon character instead of a rare too. I actually found it easier to solo like this than soloing with the Vanguard as well: there's less need to move around, less use of abilities, you can stick to cover, no need to get into melee range (instead, stay out of melee range). It's just point and shoot.
