I think main page said its cumulative use of all commendation weapons over the course of the weekend, so unless I'm mistaken, no. You don't need 50k in one match.

I confess didn't like much this new about the N7 valkyrie...it will take a lot of time to max this weapon...
But regardless i will do this challenge. it's been some time since i used the promotional weapons...

Use it on an Infiltrator and you won't have any problems.

People, I know it's hard but please try and use your heads. If you had to get the 50,000 points in one match there wouldn't be a counter on your profile that says

CURRENT PROGRESS: 0 of 50000 (0%)

it's just like any of the other weapon challenges. Your score accumulates over a series of matches. The big difference is you only have a window of this weekend to finish it.

Not everyone looked at their N7 HQ, they only read the blog and/or this thread. A simple "Yes, it's cumulative over multiple matches" would have sufficed.

Don't take it personally. I have read the whole thread and it's been asked over and over again and explained dozens of times.

Nothing taken personally, I figured it out on my own when I looked at the N7 HQ earlier. I have read most of this thread also, only because I've been reading it on and off since it's creation. If I was to come here and just read the blog post though and not look at my N7 HQ, I'd ask the same question. So, again, a simple "Yes, it's cumulative over multiple matches" would have sufficed.

My friend asked me today how he can get the Hurricane... I said complete a weekend op. Looks like he's outta luck on this one! You can't participate if you haven't already completed a weekend op yet.

For added fun try earning 50,000 points using nothing but the N7 Eagle.

Eagles not a bad weapon once you get it to level 7 or so.

Still, I'd rather have a Hurricane. Maybe this week!

yeah, I don't think I'll be racking up the 50,000 needed points with the Eagle II. I have only done two ops and got that POS for both of them.

Solo a match or few. Also try shooting mooks then Cloak +Sabotage as FQI so that you get the credit for the kills on the Eagle. Makes it a touch easier. Probably am not going to convince you of anything since your mind seems made up, but the Eagle isn't nearly as bad as it used to be.

This has been the case with every game, ever. Exclusive items with pre-order, but they are only exclusive for a certain amount of time. Some will even charge a few MS points for the pre-order items sometimes. Or, did you buy the game just for the Valkyrie?

Heh. The Valkyrie wasn't a Gamestop exclusive anyway. Pre-order bonus, sure... (got mine with the CE, and it wasn't from Gamestop).

Anyway, looks like another "sucks for new players" challlenge.
