7 months later finally, not just Shepard can use it!

No 8 months!

And it is a Commendation weapon!

 Im temptes to fail this one on purpose.  Adding new weapons? Cool.  New promotional weapon? NOT COOL!!!
its already going to take forever to max the existing ones and this will slow the process further. If youre going to add more there must be more ways to get them like a gold challenge completion should get a commendation pack.  Thats much harder than a weekend op anyways.

It isn't completely clear from the blog post, but all Commendation packs for Operation Valkyrie will contain the N7 Valkyrie and the Valkyrie will be available in future Commendation packs in future weekend operations.

1. The wording of the challenge makes it seem like you have to do it in one game.
Also if you can't score that with a weapon or combination of weapons in a single match(yes preferably solo) maybe you should be playing some thing else. Sorry my opinion but I stand by it.
2. I've used the valkyrie in single player and all I can say is: great another eagle to get in the way of us getting the good guns.(if you notice it's only people who don't know anything about the gun that want it.)
3. Though I'm all for supporting the community and helping new players I don't have any problems with this op being "exclusive" to people with commendation pack weapons as some of us have put in A LOT of time into this game. There will be more ops and more opportunities for people to get trolled by commendation packs in the weeks to come. Be paticent(sp) and you too can get five eagles straight.

Edited to add anwser to everyones question: I can't post a link as I'm barely computer literate but Bryan Johnson of Bioware has posted on his thread That you can do the challEnge OVER THE COURSE OF THE OP. That is all.

I loved the gun in the game but this is kinda pointless. There is no way anyone will be able to level the gun enough to actually want to use it in a game. Why can't they make it an ultra rare after you unlock it or something? Its taken me all this time just to get my Hurricane to level 7 and I am one of the luck ones I guess. Or please just drop Eagle and Crusader from the game so everyone can get a weapon they would want to use.

Have you plans to improve the operation weekends with harder challenges? (50.000 points is not a challenge even with a spoon...) I mean, for example, we could have some "optional goal": collect 500.000 points with n7 guns for a special title/challenge award. For "hardcore" gamers.

Last challenge takes 6-7 minutes to finish it. This one won't take much more.

And what is about "newcomers" who didn't open any commendation pack yet? (So they haven't any N7 weapon...)

Last weekend's challenge made me solo bronze for the first time. This time I think I'll do the same, but my krogan soldier will kill every single enemy with a crusader v instead of his head.

Individual Goal: Earn 50,000 points using N7 promotional weapons (Valiant, Hurricane, Crusader, Eagle) on any map at any difficulty. The four weapons may be used in combination. Points will be cumulative. Extraction is not required.

Its N7 Typhoon not N7 Destroyer, but you cant use it anyway.

Apologies if this has already been verified: the N7HQ screen displays the challenge as progress 0 out of 50000 (0%) which strongly suggests that it can be completed over multiple games similar to other % progress challenges. Ie. you don't have to get the 50k points in one game.

Hmmm......you spoil us Mr. Bioware (in best Ernst Stavro Blofeld voice as new Bond starts in UK today!!)....2 back to back very easy challenges.....

Have to say, can easily score 50000 with Hurricane 5 in probably less than an hour. Bit of a pain the addition of a fifth N7 at level zero, but if challenges are going to weekly rather than fortnightly this would more than make up for it. Any word from Bioware as to whether there will now be a challenge every week?
