For those of you who have the Valkyrie, how is it? is it heavy? full auto? large clip?

Its almost a carbon copy of the Vindicator, but it weighs over twice as much.

Happened to me on the first go, I had been playing on XB then started the challange, you have to reload to get the splash screen then you can do the challange

I like it. Weighs about the same as the Harrier, larger ammo capacity, deals more damage per shot, slightly less accurate. Downside is its not fully automatic, it fires in bursts of two (or three, can't remember).

^ Vindicator + Mattock. Its weight is comparable to the Mattock if memory serves. Been a while since I've used it in SP.

Will the Valkyrie continue to be promo only or move to regular packs after the weekend? Probably the former but I wish it were the latter.

Exactly this, took 1.5 games on Bronze, 1 game as a Turian Havok and the second as the new Asari Valkyrie (closest I got to a Valkyrie) lots of fun with guns then running around blowing up Tech Armour in an Annhilation Field for giggles

It took me four games on Bronze but I played with full, random squads. An N7 Fury and I were running around like mad attempting to kill things with our Hurricanes. heh....pretty damn fun.

Oh, and thanks to those who played the rounds with me. I had a blast.

 Could someone please do a little 'splainin' for me? I'm obviously not getting it. I've done four solos on bronze using the N7 Saber. But my challenge says that I've completed 0% of the challenge?!? I don't get it. I've used nothing but this gun all the way through, accumulating over 100,000 points per each time through. That's over 400,000 points, but my the weekend challenge says I've done 0%. What am I missing here? Thanks!

Completed the challenge, got a Valiant VI. Did most of my challenge with the Hurricane and some with the Valiant. Played a lot of good games on Silver and tried out the new maps. Fun times! A friend I played with tried out the Crusader for the first time in order to complete the challenge and hated it. I like it though. Then he discovered the Hurricane and loved it. He normally doesn't play with SMG:s so he didn't even know how coveted that weapon is.

Played two rounds earlier with the Crusader, easily got 50k+ but challenge says "Current progress: 0 of 50000 (0%)".

Oh well, I'll try again when I get home from work.

If you aren't getting the challenge progress updates, restart the game until the splash screen appears. Remember, you can only complete the challenge by using one of the four original promo weapons (Hurricane, Crusader, Valiant, Eagle). No other weapons, including UR (black) weapons, will count towards the challenge goal.

Easy enough, got a Eagle IV now haha. Well I did it with a Eagle so.... I want the sniper and the AR. Guess I will just have to wait tell the Eagle is maxed out first. Doh.
