The Piranha isn't a promotional weapon, it's a gun that you can get by buying regular packs.  The event is for guns that you earn by commendation packs only.

nope, only the four Commendation Pack weapons do.

Good thing I had the Eagle from my last commendation pack. Got it knocked out pretty quick on my Engineer. What did I get for it? The Eagle II.

Got it done, mostly with a Crusader on my Batarian Soldier (got half of the Ballistic Blades challenge done while I was at it ). What did I get for my efforts? Eagle V.

wait...wasn't this challenge originally 100,000 points? That would have made it a little more difficult. The Hurri with equip tears through things like wet paper....

Do more operations like these. meaning the kinds of operations encouraging us leave our comfort zone and try out diferent weapons. I used to think all the N7 weapons suck (except maybe the crusader; a shotgun acting like a sniper rifle... brought a new meaning to the term "shotgun surgeon". But now I had so much fun with them. The valiant anihilates mooks, with fast firing rate making and easy headshot kills. One of my squad members had a black widow with, and I felt sad about all the trouble it gave him. And the hornet! I hated it inaccauracy and how it burned through ammo. But it took it 5 seconds to drop a brute. when modded for AP it's far superior to a shotgun in CQB.

A good point about trying new things. It is easy to slip into habits and run your usual characters weapons and builds. 

This Operation 'forced' me to try weapons I had largely dismissed. 

With a little thought I now like my Crusader III on a Krogan.

I'd welcome other opportities to leave my comfort zone.

Drill rounds are awesome! I made three kills (headshots) with a single valiant shot! Now I can say I'm on par with Garrus!

Well given your attitude you probably only use two of the available weapons anyway so what the hell were they going to give you that would make you happy?  You just keep using that Carnifex and Widow and leave the 'having fun playing games' to the rest of us.

There's one every weekend now dude. Better than every second weekend
