Well i just started playing on the PS3 last week and was lucky to get a krogan in a psp during the event so i could complete it. My friend who i started playing with on there received no such luck so he is out for both last week's and this week's event. Shame as new players are going to find it hard to get into to unlock these.

Glad they finally decided to take my idea (if they saw it) and added the Valkyrie to the commendation pack list of promo weapons.

Nope, you have to have earned a N7 weapon by completing a previous challenge weekend.

And dang it, people have been asking for three hours straight. 

DO THE 50,000 POINTS HAVE TO BE IN ONE MATCH? 

Is there a reason nobody at BW will answer this one? <_<

It would be kind of funny (in a cruel and ironic way) if someone started playing multiplayer 2 weeks ago and couldn't do the previous challenge because they didn't have a krogan, and couldn't do this challenge because they couldn't do the last challenge.

This is why im laughing at my friend right now

Was lucky to unlock a krogan on the last day of the promotion weekend last week otherwise i would not be a happy bunny. Where are all the squad goals like there used to. They were much more enjoyable and required the community to play together.

It does, but it only says that after saying you can use any of the N7 weapons in combination. I took that to mean the points for the weapons are cumulative. It doesn't say the points are cumulative through multiple matches.

Is it me, or those weekend challenges got a little more creative, but a little easy as well? 4 weapons to choose from, points are cumullative, no extraction... Make us work for those commendation pack and bring back squad/global challenges!

N7 HQ shows the new operation challenge. It's listed in a format that lends itself to be completed like all the other weapon based challenges. So probably doesn't require all to be done in one game.

so whats the best class to solo with and can you get enough points from soloing a bronze match?

As ive never tried soloing at any level I was thinking of using my Destroyer with Eagle 2 and Valiant 2 (I missed 4 months worth of challenges )

If you only kill using the weapon, you should be able to solo two bronze matches and get it.

I'd suggest (because you'll just be using weapons) try a krogan with a hurricane SMG and crusader shotgun. Good combo, got your full auto, your sniper (crusader xD). Try it on ghost (easy map) against geth, cause they have no insta-kill units.

If you want it to be easy, that is.

Just another voice to say how I don't believe this weekend's operation is too fair on the new players.

I just got my brother playing last week, and we tried to earn him as many credits as possible so he could unlock a Krogan. It didn't happen, so that means this weekend operation is out of reach for him, too.

It's not a huge deal for him really, as he'd got so much to unlock as it is. But I certainly feel it's less than optimal.

I only have Eagle II and Valiant II, hopefully it wont be all in one game then i dont have to worry about it

Oh and about those new players.....tough....thye cant appeal to new and veteran players at the same time, the new players will get their challenge next week probably

Krogans or anything tanky as all hell.
With Unknown Unknown Bronze and drawing out the objective waves you'll get MORE than enough points. Maybe more than 100k.
