So what race is the PC in this game going to be? Do you get to choose? Or are they going with the rule of one again? Bah.

Look, I do not like playing a human character. Humans are more boring than a philiosphy lecture. There are already a crap ton of humans IRL, and I'm already one of them, so when I jump into fantasy land, I want to be something different. Something cool. Something that sucks less (and isn't responsible for destroying the Earth's environment, among other things).

Now that I've said that... let me guess. The PC is another stinking ****** sapien.

How'd you know? I thought I was the only person Bioware told.

They already announced you were a human again. There's a bunch of threads about it.

Dwarves are better.

I guess it was too much to expect some creativity. Ah well, hopefully it won't be a total loss... though this proves that sequels truly are never as good.

Generally because creators only put a fraction of effort into sequels, compared to what they put into the original.

There's a very good reason the main character will be human. Probably because i'ts Morrigan son/daughter. Whomever, i don't care if we can choose the protagonist gender. I'm just worried with a good game.

I agree that dwarves are better.

But "human only protagonist" does not mean "lack of creativity". Are you saying that you've never played a creative, fun game that didn't include racial options?

If it is, maybe I'll be slightly happier. It's not cool to leave such a major story arc dangling for so long with no resolution.... :pinched:

But I somehow doubt it will be.

Yeah, just what I thought. In fact, I won't be surprised if it's left dangling for good and never gets a resolution at all.

There's alot of things suggesting Morrigan son/daughter will be the main protagonist. Flemeth is pissed off with Morrigan and knows about the ritual, Sandal gave intels on that, Orlais is the hearth of Ferelden x orlais, the Stone lives beneath Orlais, a huge army of flesh golems, an army of demons, a qunari army and many other problems.

-------
I highly doubt the Warden and Hawke would be able to solve this issues alone. Since they dissapeard. Flemeth is a force of chaos and order, she wanted the Warden and Morrigan to have a son in order to finish the conflict between the mages and templars. She saved Hawke so he could step in Kirkwall conflicts and defeat the Qunary army and save the city.

She saved Loghain and Cailan so they would be at Ostagar and the Warden would well... become a Warden. Otherwise Ferelden would have fallen to the darkspawn.

She could have easily kileld Warden if she wanted to, since Flemeth is related to the gods of Arlathan somehow.

Oh look, another thread about Human PC. I guess the ongoing 90+ page thread about it doesn't make the message clear enough.

Why does it have to be a son? Sexists.

And what if the Warden was female? Then it was Loghain.

And Morrigan's a filthy wh*re. End of.

In gameplay terms, Hawke can be femele or a man.

But in history terms, Hawke was a blood mage male.

Warden was a male warrior of unknow origin.

Never. Warden was a girl and it was her friend Loggy who did the horizontal boogie with the swamp girl.

Except

1.  Morrigan may not have had a child
2.  Bioware have said they're continuing with imports.

If the OGB is resolved it will be either canonized or very minor since it can't interfere with players' stories who rejected the ritual.

They're probably saving the other races for multiplayer. Want to be a dwarf? Play multiplayer and just like in ME3, what you do in MP will go for war assests, so you can get the best ending and synthesize mages and templars so everyone can use magic and no one can discriminate against mages anymore! (I hope not!)

Also, the OGB can't be the main character. Morrigan says its a boy in Witch Hunt so playing as a female would mess that up. Also, I doubt the OGB is going to come back to Thedas just to end a magic war. If that was Morrigan's goal then LAME!

I don't believe Flemeth is pissed at Morrigan, when she comes up in chats with Hawke, shes indifferent on the subject, even laughs to herself stating, "and why not, I raised her that way." or something along the lines.

1. But how the warden survived?
2. Yup, but this doesn't necesseraly changes considerably the main protagonist historyline. Warden almost dind't influenced at all in Hawke's storys.

Morrigan states she had a son (if the Dark Ritual took place) in Witch Hunt.

Female Wardens can ask Alistair or Loghain to do the DR.

And since Morrigan was the one soliciting sexual services, she would be a "john."  I cannot vouch for her personal hygiene, however.
