Actually looked for one the other day out of sheer curiosity and found nothing, of course.

It could theoretically via screen scraping one's N7HQ pages. Not saying I'm the best programmer that could do it but given time (like a lot of it)...
True. On an unrelated note, aren't ppl able to access the site on the phone? I am on the phone now, and just finished visiting the n7hq site on the phone and everything worked fine from my phones browser.

Yeah you can but it would just streamline it a whole lot more if there were an app that was formatted for phones and tablets speciffically instead of having to pinch and zoom etc etc...

Even though like others I can easily view it on my handheld device, I would like to see an easy-to-access app without having to zoom in all the time

As long as it released on multiple platforms, still waiting for datapad.
yeah I went to go look for it since when I discovered it it was quite old and I thought they'd put it on droid by now..
Side Note: like your avatar and ezio would win sig wars!

"Apps" is a really bad idea when they do not support all platforms.

Depends on a number of things. I couldn't use my tablet until I replaced the browser with Opera, which has a javascript implementation that doesn't crash the browser every 5 seconds. Had the same problem on my poor dead 2nd gen iPod Touch, except that I couldn't replace the browser.
You know, maybe the answer is to stop getting second hand devices and never updating them. Oh well.
ETA: I'm really tempted to ask the devs if the webteam can put out a basic API, but I suspect they're protecting themselves from someone deciding to try and scrape the entire database and crashing the entire system. Which I totally wouldn't do.
And FTR, I keep it open on my tablet, on a browser window on my second monitor, or in the origin browser, depending on how I'm feeling that day (if I need to be keeping an eye on my email, for example, I'll use the tablet instead of the origin browser).

Would be better to create a mobile version of the N7HQ site instead, that's made for the lower resolutions of phones. Thus everyone can use it instead of a small portion of users if they go with an application.

this would also be an easy implementation

(Datapad's 'Alliance News' tab says nothing but "Facebook Syndication Error". 'Messages' tab has nothing since August 8th, nothing related to Leviathan DLC, which was a minor disappointment. I like those messages. 'Media' tab has nothing from any DLC that I can tell. 'Galaxy At War' tab says it requires an internet connection... when I'm connected over a strong wi-fi connection that otherwise works fine - I often access the forum and ME3 blog pages on it through my phone's web browser. The only tab that still seems to work fine is 'Codex' - but even that hasn't been updated with, for example, any Leviathan content.)
...It occurs to me I haven't contacted Bioware or EA about this issue until now. I'll go fix that.
