Can we fund a new ending?

I too have the expectation of doing my due diligence for future DLC. I did so with Leviathan and I ended up enjoying the work the team did for that DLC, so my hope was raised a bit higher than I had expected. Sorry for not bring that up in my earlier post.

If this is how you truly feel, then you may be at the point where you need to sell or discard your ME games.
At this point, if it's still upsetting you that much, it's time to let go.
Agreed. While I want to salvage ME3 too people need to realize Bioware broke up with us. Denial (indoctrination theory) or moping around hoping to get back together "if only Bioware understood" won't help. It's over it's hard to let go because you realize how much time and emotional investment was squandered but that's life. Let Bioware self destruct but keep your own dignity intact. All things come to an end it's too bad they ended on a bitter note. I think we're all wiser for it however.

If Casey Hudson and Super Mac give me a copy of their college transcripts then I will give them 5 million dollars. That's right 5 million dollars. The only caveat is that it must be given to me by October 31st at 5 PM.

That was a joke, I believe.

If you're really serious, then you would be better off using that money funding a group of talented programmers who are familiar with the Unreal Engine developers kit. They might be able to hack the game and create a mod changing the ending for you.wwinters99 wrote...
Bioware, first and foremost, wants to make money at the end of the day. Normally, they create a game with the hopes it sells well enough to recoup the development costs and adds a hefty margin on top.
What if we paid for the development of a new ending? What does Bioware have to lose?
I have $23,753.78 in the bank. Bioware can have every last penny. I consider it an investment, not for a game, but my own happiness.
If I'm the only one who invests, so be it.
If my contribution results in a single text slide, it would be enough. It would mean that I made a difference, that I didn't give up, and that I didn't let Shepard down.
It's been nearly 8 months. I can't get over it. I cant move on. I tried to by happy. I've tried to forget.
I guess I'm just looking for a bit of hope, because I ran out of it a long time ago.

However as most people have said, the odds of that happening are very, very slim.

Extended Cut wasn't perfect, but it's the best we're going to get.
If you're willing to part with that much money, give it to charity.

Your money could come in handy down the road, and after all of this, I doubt they could deliver something that was adequate enough to make for all the lies, spiteful acts and disappointment.

Come on, regarding story and especially characters, Elder Scrolls was never in the same league as Mass Effect. It has other strengths. It lets you do this

Skyrim is a nice game with a dull and awfull story, but it was never about the story.

My point exactly, it simply has different strengths. But I will leave for now since I realize that I am just sidetracking this thread by now.

Just give the money to charity. It will ake you alot happier. You could go around all smug knowing you're better than everyone since you gave all your money to the poor. But I guess you're probably one of the deuches who retracted their donations when they discovered they were donating money for sick children instead of a new ending.
I am not a good person. I won't donate money to charity. I am selfish and want something for myself. Maybe that's why Mass Effect had such an impact on me. For once, I felt that this was my story, my choices.
I loved Mass Effect and whoever said "Better to have loved and lost...." was full of s***

You know what I used to spend money on? Video Games, I own over 300. I have even more books, comics, and movies. I've beaten almost every single game, read every book, and watched every film in my collection.
Mass Effect was the greatest of them all.
I haven't bought anything new since March. What's the point? If I find something I like, it just means that it hasn't had enough time to turn to ash before my eyes. What good is money if it doesn't bring you happiness?

They will not do this. There are things that money cannot buy.

And, don't take this the wrong way, but isn't donating for a game a bit... much? And you probably need to find other hobbies... D: Like exercising? Cooking? Building a business to soon pass on to your children or something?! You might need a lot of time away from this franchise, for a while...
