Seriously, I live in Beaumont, beers to the team members that cut out the ridiculously long load times between starting Origin and actually playing in an MP game. I've waited for a minute and a half on the main menu load alone.

Think he's asking to shorten the whole process of checking DLC, connect to EA servers, freeze a few seconds, etc.
Whole process takes about a minute and a half. It's kinda annoying.

I.E. a more heavily armored sniper oriented male Human Infiltrator, a lighter more agile female Human Soldier, etc.
I have to take this from my approach, would I want to have to unlock another 6 characters + 24 appearance options for just having the exact same skills etc and just have a different gender, nope.

I am not involved in that process, but it seems to me it is very much idea bouncing. The designers create something do a small prototype and then pitch the idea to the creative director. If it is approved then they work on it a bit more and add in modeling and animation.
Wow my dog is named Chloe too.

Is there a technical reason why character clones are used? Ive had another developer explain to me that using the same body across an entire race but swapping the head helps prevent fps drop and crashing due to the limitations of consoles (ram). To narrow the question down, is that limitation the actual reason why so many character kits look exactly the same? I don't even ask that Bioware create new assets but I'm very acute to the fact that old assets go unused. Someone at the studio must have noticed that Asari Sentinels already wore something completely unique in Mass Effect 2. Are older game assets off limits?

Here's something I've been curious about..
How difficult would it be to change the "lobby names" of the Asari Justicar and Ex-Cerberus Adept/Vanguard to something unique? Right now, the Justicar appears as "Asari Adept" at the top and in the lobby screen, and the Ex-Cerberus guys say "Male Human ____", which as you know also refer to other characters with different skillsets.
Would that be a complex fix, or do they not have unique names in the lobby for a reason?

No I did not play KOTOR but yes I played SWTOR a lot more so during the year before release though, after it was released we were in crunch and then ME3 release and have been playing that.
No it isnt a job requirement, infact I had not seen the original star wars movies until last year (and havent seen episode 1 and 2)
TNG > Voyager > Star Wars > DS9 > TSO > Enterprise (overall Star Trek)
New BSG and I only started watch it after playing (and loving) the board game
i find your low ranking of DS9 distrubing.
