Here's a question: Do you guys get/look at statistics about the disconnects? Has there been an actual spike as of late?

So Bryan......are you the "Brian" of the group?

Also, what is your opinion on people presenting faulty arguments without the proper evidence or any relevant data?
Second, what's your favorite color?
Did you know that Watermelons were vegetables?

Why was the decision made to have the Earth characters be restricted to a single gender?

Do you think it would be appropriate to go for "opposite" versions of the Earth characters in terms of specializations/appearances?
I.E. a more heavily armored sniper oriented male Human Infiltrator, a lighter more agile female Human Soldier, etc.

What character do you least like to play? And what is your least favourite power/ability?

And do you ever enjoy "trolling" other players by shooting Possessed Abominations?

Also, have you ever had inter-office food fights/pranks/matches?

your signature confuses me. I understand what Quality Assurance is, and i have a general understanding of Live Coordination but what is Build/Reporting Specialization?

During development you will typically have a process called BVT (Build Verification Testing) this is where a member of QA takes the build for that day and runs tests and if it is good for the team releases it, this is how I started.

I also created a lot of builds (such as the E3 build, gamescom, etc. etc.) are builds which I created the actual disc image for.

Reporting is something I took on extra, where I would take large chunks of data and make them into readable formats for our production staff. IE how many bugs were filed that day, by whom, for who, and how critical. I would also report things such as how many bigs were being filed against a level in a given day etc.

AKA Graphs and Charts for our production and lead staff

Mr. Bryan Johnson with cool Hat

Question 1: Who you like more? Wrex or Wreav or Zaeed? And why?

Question 2: What's your Fav, RPG?
  • Mine probably Mario RPG: Legend of Seven Stars (never forget about the classics)
Question 3: Have you tried Rynchol? I hear it hits like "Ground Glass"

Question 4: Favorite ME Character & KOTOR Character?
  • Mine is Canderous Ordo &....oh dear.....I can't choose between Wrex or Zaeed:pinched:
If possible do you know Who voiced Wreav in ME3? I saw Jim Cummings did the Voice for Wreav in ME2. I didn't see Wreav in the ending Credits........so I don't know.

I looked on IMDB........and no answer there either. The VA for Wreav in ME3 was amazing...very very well done

Okay, I kid, I kid.

First off, cool. You're only a year younger than me, but your job is definitely way cooler than mine. LOL

Question: What is your favorite gun in the whole game? If not an assault rifle, what is your favorite assault rifle?

Yes, I'm an assault rifle freak like Derek. Posted Image

For ME2 it was the Mattock, for ME3 it was the Venom Shotgun. For AR I would go with the Striker.

I don't know if this is the appropriate place to ask this since this thread is for questions relating to you.. but... Is BW aware that the survival medal goal in the Squad Elite challenge has glitched out for some people? In short, it doesn't count towards the overall progress for some and when completed, it still says "0 times completed".

Now that that's out of the way, Asari or Quarians?

Nice! I actually had not used the Striker before today, but did so going for the Marksman banner. It has changed my MP life. Love that gun on the Ghost!

What's it like working for Bioware and what do you do?

It is pretty awesome, the people I work with are great, we know when to work and when to have fun and do random things. Like we created a game of trying to shoot nerf darts into a plastic pumpkin, tomorrow we have beer and a halloween costume, today was QA cake day.

Also everyone is very approachable, I could walk into Casey's office and start a conversation with him. I played TOR with Ray Muzyka, and would stop and have a conversation if I came across him in the halls.

As for what I do I responded in a slightly earlier question.

In terms of this, it's simply because we already have the opposing bit and making them "unique" characters seemed to have been the goal for Earth...so why just copy/paste the skill sets to male/female platforms when instead you can create something new?

Hi Bryan

Out of all the ME3 devs, who is the best at the game?

(I need to ask Derek the same question)

Derek would probably say me, or Bjorn or Chris Schanche.

I am not sure who I would consider the best, there is a guy in QA that is pretty good at the game but I think anyone on the gameplay team is definitely very strong.

Oh this question is more important to me.

What are some nicknames you've given to some of the enemies.

I have a few for my more notorious targets, although I do not think my nicknames are....appropriate.

Also, do you like to dance with Brutes?

Two things.

First of all: What are your thoughts on the Krogan Soldier and melee in general? With the recent Brute buffs, I've been happy to realize that I can't simply one 'shot' them after de-activating fortification and being in a blood rage.

That is to say: I'm happy that they are harder to kill, they used to be like wet tissue paper before. So...yeah. Penny for your thoughts? Like melee, hate melee, think it needs some tweaks?

Also: Does Derek ever pop in randomly when you're enjoying a treat?

EDIT: Are you going to dress up as Grunt tomorrow?

What's the name of your cat?

Also, if that's not related to the game enough to warrant an answer, what is entailed in the process of designing new characters? Is one of you just sitting around writing down combinations of powers you haven't tried before, or is it more elaborate?

Chloe

I am not involved in that process, but it seems to me it is very much idea bouncing. The designers create something do a small prototype and then pitch the idea to the creative director. If it is approved then they work on it a bit more and add in modeling and animation.
