Has the MP aspect of Mass Effect far exceeded BioWare's initial expectations??

I can't comment on BioWare as a whole but myself, no.

I dont know if you guys recall when MP was announced he talked about people staying in the offices to play into the wee hours of the morning. Want to guess who one of those people were?

Do you think we can get alternative appearances for current characters, like the crew in SP?

Can the reset card cap of 3 be removed? Their uncommon so they won't take up the rare slot in SPs or PSPs.

Also how much coffee does the Bioware team drink in the morning?

I would find it unlikely given my knowledge of how the engine works and memory concerns.

You are correct they are uncommon but they would still be in SP and PSP, and given that we have seen very little in the way of fans not liking the current system I would doubt a change.

I dont know about the morning but I believe that over a ton of coffee is used each year.

Hey Bryan,

Have you guys ever considered implementing Soja57's Terminous Pack or Enforcement Pack DLC ideas for future multiplayer downloadable content? He has some pretty solid ideas for new weapons, characters, and powers.

Example: social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/343/index/13644067

We can never take fan ideas directly, as there are legal issues with doing so.

Subjectively firm, as I am a technical mindset. I will find what I believe is an answer have evidence that I believes proves something unless shown something otherwise that will change my opinion.

Yes I will, say that Turians are my fav council race but not my fav race :P

Hi Bryan

First of all, someone with the same name as ACDC's singer HAS to be cool ;)

I need to ask U something:whose idea was the RNG store system? Yours? EA? And why did you decide to implement it? I guess you're aware of the frustration

Thanks a lot once again for your dedication to all the players, I may disagree with some of your decisions but I've never seen such a devoted team taking care for their game , much appreciated

Keep up the good work

By "yours" do you mean BioWare, I am not sure if I had to guess I would say it was BioWare. Given what I know though it does make a fairly logical system. Personally I feel there is a rush with it, especially when you are first starting out, you open it and have the alure of what is it going to be. Also the anticipation of what is the next pack going to be.

Here's a simple (depending on who you are) question, favorite game of all time?

Also, do you voice the Paladin? If not, and you can get in touch with them at a point, can you ask him to read me a bed time story? If you think about it, it's not that weird.

Master of Orion II

I do not, and there are only 2 "voice actors" I have met. Mark Merr and the person who did the "voice" for the space hamster :P

Will Bioware ever consider to release independent PC patches? I mean, with this at least PC players could avoid things like waiting 6 months for SMG ultra-material fix (it was discovered in march and fixed in Retaliation). I understand that console games are hard to patch with their unchangeable optical disk content, but PC doesn't have that problem. So why is PC game content forced to be synchronized with console content even though ME3 doesn't support cross-plaform multiplayer? Am I totally wrong to presume that independent PC patches should be easier to release than console patches?

For example Valve took a completely different approach in Team Fortress 2, releasing patches more frequently with pc than consoles.
More discussion here:

social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/344/index/14389857
We aren't asking for massive exclusive contents for PC, instead we just want some small hotfixes released in reasonable time cycles. Things like engineering discussion bug when Kaidan is alive, pad support, hotkey support etc. For example right now we are waiting for Typhoon recoil fix in SP, but it's a bit sad to know that it will be fixed only when all 3 platform get a patch at the same time in some distant future.

Personally I would say it is unlikely, when you get mixed code bases it is hard to manage

Do you guys have an 'endgame' planned for ME3 MP?
What I mean is one day someone is going to shut off the Me3 servers and that will be it. All the MP content gone and inaccessible forever. Which would be a shame I think.
If anything is planned I understand that no details could be be given.

When DE:HR came out I went back to the original Deus Ex and still discovered things I'd missed the first few times. And can go back anytime.

No we dont have anything planned atm, but that is a long ways away

I know you're probably tired of answering husk challenge questions ad nauseum, but I just wanted to run this past your eyes as I haven't seen this idea thrown out there yet. I'm not sure if this would fall victim to the same problem as lowering the values per challenge, but it couldn't hurt to ask. Feel free to ignore if it's the same issue.

I know you've stated that you can't lower the points per challenge, but would it be possible to completely remove rank 2 and 3 (or just 3) from the husk challenge and lower the gold challenge requirement accordingly? That would leave one 150k challenge, which would still take some time on gold/silver but is more realistic. My hope is that with Husk Points 2 and 3 no longer in existence, you could tweak it so the value of Husk Points 1 would reset when the gold challenge is completed as if it was the "final tier" (like rank 3 is now). 150k is definitely a more attainable goal for Gold+ players that would fit in line with the rest of the challenges timeline-wise.

As for a non-technical question.. more satisfying sabotage kill: turning a turret on its own engineer in the process of being deployed, or hacking a Geth Bomber to bombard a group of Dragoons?

Once again such an idea is technically limited. Let me pose an example why.

I currently have everything sitting at completed tier 3 and husk points at tier 2 going for tier 3. So that makes it 17/18 we now remove husk tier 2 and tier 3. We are sitting at 17/16. The system only "ticks" when a challenge is complete. Simple answer is you are now in a locked state.

Hi Bryan

Do you ever feel like you're sort of missing out on the Mass Effect experience as a result of having worked/working on it? Like, you don't get to experience it fully because you're aware of and involved with the process of making it happen.

If not, have any of the other devs said anything to that effect?

Me, no the reason for this that during development I would typically do very quick checks that didnt spoil much for me. I can tell you I know Vancouver and the start of the Sur'kesh pretty well but other than that I never saw most of the game content.

I think inevitably some people didn't there are some people that work at the company that arent even gamers after all.
