Bryan, is there any chance region selection will be added for PC when searching for a match? Almost every match I look for or person that joins my room is not even in the same country, and when that happens there is guaranteed lag followed by possible disconnection.

I can bring it up

Hey Bryan!
Thanks for the numerous times ya'lls helped me and others!
Now then!

1. Do you like yer work? What, Why and is there something really specific that is fun for yah? (Like a vending machine that gives 2 twix bars at the price of one.)

2. Do you like Eurobeat? Why or why not?

1) Love it, because of the people and the passion. I also like that I can have a fridge next to me that I can fill up with beer and pop

2) Not really, I prefer non vocal music

Now for the million dollar question of imaginery internet money!

Is the fridge portable o.O?

Yes infact I just packed up my stuff to move tomorrow morning, and that baby will be coming with me

Hi Bryan do u guys have any full time statisticians? I know Activision hires stat people to analyze their stuff. Or u guys don't think you have enough data to warrant a full time statistician?

To a degree, we have people that work with telemetry but not a professional statistician

26 years old? Damn now I feel old. @ 31 I have reached the point where most people that have the same interests are way younger than me. *opens bowl of chicken soup for soul healing*

So what's you opinion on this, should I grow up and start collecting stamps or does the term "age appropriate" not apply anymore in our modern day? Is is video games an exeption to the rule?

Or maybe I should just do it like any real man should. Grow up when my girlfriend tells me to and not a second sooner ;-)

Most of people who are making our games are your age or older :P

Hello Bryan, I'd like to ask you a couple o questions.

1) Are you an Oilers fan?

3) How do I know if I'm fat or my bones are just fat?

Thank you.

Surely any Canadian must decide at one point: Molson or Labatt?
(As someone who used to live in Halifax, bonus points if you go for the dark horse that is Alexander Keith's, despite them being owned by Labatt these days)

Neither, i am an Austrian/German beer drinker for the most part

What kind of music do you enjoy?

Also being an Albertan I have to ask, do you guys call the elevated walkways between buildings downtown for people to use in winter to get around without going outside +15s or is that just us Calgarians?

Trance is my normal

Yes we do, we also have them on campus, I pretty much never had to go outside on cold days in Uni

alright mr. Johnson....  as a fellow lover of all things electronic (as far as music goes).....
when playing dagger standstorm.... do you ever have, running through your head, dununununun DUH dununununun
because i'm always tempted to blast this over my microphone (i never have the heart to though..... dear god that song is so overdone)

Nope never thought that, but during E3 development I created a special custom wrapped Mass Effect 3 executable that would play sandstorm whenever it was started.

You say you where a QA tester. I have to ask; how do you keep from getting burned out on the game you're testing? Or do you just have to take a break?

I couldn't take running though the same scenario dozens of times to replicate results. Is there some tolerance you build up?

I don't really do repeatative tasks myself, and I always try and find a different way of going about something. If it is something repeatative ill replace it with a script.

We certainly can not QA a level(s) in a day.

i think of the same thing every time one of the devs joins in the conversation lol.

So....   you live with Derek....  He's a bit older than the rest of you folk on average right? so....   you have previous mentioned lovely lady in your life.... he's married (if i remember correctly)....
so... two not single guys - living in a house together....
seems like there's some seriously lost opportunity here!!

Does Derek ever scold you guys with "back in my day" stories?

So why do you guys at BioWare nerf enjoyment making the game become a frustating ball of bull crap instead of fun?

My personal feeling is that if you only derive pleasure from the 1 or 2 classes that we made small numeric changes to, then your definition of fun is vastly different than mine.

Do you ever shave your cat??

No, it is cold here in the winter and that would insanely cruel. (Yes she is an indoor cat)

what if your cat developed mats?  some cats with particularly oily fur will develop them..... by the time you notice them (since they start low in the hair) they're already thick and everywhere.  i've had to shave or near shave two cats in my lifetime thanks to that (though less of a drawback for the cat in sou calif)

so i'm going to rephrase mybudgee's question
Have you ever shaved your cat (or any of your cats... presumably there are several) for reasons of its own wellbeing? (parasite infestation, hair mats, etc.)

My cat spends a lot of time grooming herself, plus she is constantly petted, and brushed. I only own one cat, so no I havent ever shaved a cat.

Have you noticed that it is now easier to get a kill streak with inferno grenades than with the missile launcher we all carry around?

Depends on the difficulty and wave #

OK

So, do you realize that the missle launcher we now have pales in comparison to the one we had before the last patch?

Also, do you look forward to the day when Canada is absorbed into the United States?

I am not certain

This will not happen in my lifetime

if things down here keep going the way they've been going.... annexation may, sadly, be closer than you think.
get ready to welcome the coming pseudo-christian-fascist overlords. :(

also - as a Canadian, can you grant political asylum?  since there's only like... 40 of you i have to figure most of you are equivalent to MPs.

I have never looked into whether I had the ability to grant political asylum.

If there was only 40 of us, then making ME3 was a far greater accomplishment then anyone gives us credit for

Hey Brian. Great you are doing this.

I'm wondering, since you were lead on firefight and some of the other DLC, if the Typhoon will be fixed in SP? It was fixed in MP a little while back but seems to have its original problem in SP.

The issue is where recoil INCREASES by 10% with each level instead of decreasing, so it gets more and more unusable as its levelled up.

On a related note, I'm wondering why MP weapon balance changes aren't also implemented on the SP side? Some of the SP weapons are either very overpowered (firing the krysae is kind of like pressing the "win" button, for example), or seriously underpowered. The MP balance changes have put most of the weapons on equal footing, and I think would also be very well-balanced in SP.

We were able to fix it with a balance change, since we dont have that system available for SP we cant fix it in the same way, we are aware of the issue and hope to fix it with an upcoming patch.

The reason it cant be balanced in the same way for SP because the balance changes require an internet connection and we cant change things in SP in such a way for various reasons.
