What would you like to see happen to the multiplayer in the future?
What kind of DLC would you like to see?

I really dont know, I leave it in the capable hands of the designer what they have come up with are concepts I would have never thought of.

If you could pick one moment from your entire mass effect experience, including the construction of the game, playing it, or anything in and around the office, what would it be? If it's too personal I understand.

My LAST 2 questions, I promise:

Do you have any idea about the ETA for the Baldurs Gate remake? And have you met Terminsel? ;)

No idea, I have never even investigated if they are able to (in a technical sense)

I know you're probably tired of answering husk challenge questions ad nauseum, but I just wanted to run this past your eyes as I haven't seen this idea thrown out there yet. I'm not sure if this would fall victim to the same problem as lowering the values per challenge, but it couldn't hurt to ask. Feel free to ignore if it's the same issue.

I know you've stated that you can't lower the points per challenge, but would it be possible to completely remove rank 2 and 3 (or just 3) from the husk challenge and lower the gold challenge requirement accordingly? That would leave one 150k challenge, which would still take some time on gold/silver but is more realistic. My hope is that with Husk Points 2 and 3 no longer in existence, you could tweak it so the value of Husk Points 1 would reset when the gold challenge is completed as if it was the "final tier" (like rank 3 is now). 150k is definitely a more attainable goal for Gold+ players that would fit in line with the rest of the challenges timeline-wise.

As for a non-technical question.. more satisfying sabotage kill: turning a turret on its own engineer in the process of being deployed, or hacking a Geth Bomber to bombard a group of Dragoons?

Once again such an idea is technically limited. Let me pose an example why.

I currently have everything sitting at completed tier 3 and husk points at tier 2 going for tier 3. So that makes it 17/18 we now remove husk tier 2 and tier 3. We are sitting at 17/16. The system only "ticks" when a challenge is complete. Simple answer is you are now in a locked state.

Hi Bryan

Do you ever feel like you're sort of missing out on the Mass Effect experience as a result of having worked/working on it? Like, you don't get to experience it fully because you're aware of and involved with the process of making it happen.

If not, have any of the other devs said anything to that effect?

Me, no the reason for this that during development I would typically do very quick checks that didnt spoil much for me. I can tell you I know Vancouver and the start of the Sur'kesh pretty well but other than that I never saw most of the game content.

I think inevitably some people didn't there are some people that work at the company that arent even gamers after all.

What class do you think fits you the most if you were to personally fight the Reapers? Soldier, Engineer, Adept, etc...?

Among all the new DLC powers that were added (from Rebellion to Retaliation), which is your favorite? Mine is a toss between Tactical Scan and Snap Freeze. :D

I started at BioWare in August 2010 as a contract employee and was hired as a full time Senior Quality Assurance Tester a year later.

Since you are QA, I'm curious if you've read any of the "tales" over at The Trenches.  From reading those, it sounds like working for a game developer, at least on the QA end, is one of the most underappreciated, painful, frustrating and explotitive jobs in the world.  Also, it seems like most game companies (development and publishing side) are run by psychopaths.

I realize that those stories mainly only draw upon the bad, and people are way more apt to complain then to compliment (e.g. BSN...), but I'm still curoius on your take on the industry, as presented above.

Edit: I guess a little more precisely, are the horror stories related in those tales rare? uncommon? common?  I'd assume rare, but eh, you never know.

Thanks!

Undoubtably there are horror stories, there is some places that QA is treated as second class and development team has the mentality that QA just there to ruin all their hard work.

BioWare treats our QA very well, we talk to designers on a daily basis, we go to social gather, and we sit with them. A lot of people have come from a QA background at BioWare at some point so they appreciate what it is like.

So at BioWare they are essentially nonexistent out in the industry I would say uncommon/common

Hi Bryan!

I have some questions:

1. I read you test builds and stuff like that, have you had in hands a build that wasn't released because it was too powerful?, if it is the case, how it was?

2. Have you have fun creating characters with skills only to see how powerful they can be?, which powers if the answer is yes?

3. your favorite car brand?

4. Do you think about add a voice to the Glacier Hazard. You know, the voice of a little kid scared and with pain saying "mommy" ?

5. What kind of movies do you like?

6. Age Of Empires or Total War saga?

7. As a fan of the game, how would be a hazard created by you?

Hey Bryan,

Country Style or Tim Hortons. Also Double-Double or Trip-Trip? XL or L?

Also can I work for you guys?? What did you do to get started and what qualifications or skills did you need to do what it is you do? And no I don't mean bowstaff skills, nunchuk skills, or computer hacking skills (Napoleon Dynamite ref. for the uninitiated)
