I really do not understand these people. If they think Bioware dropped so much, why not follow their lives? If they want to continue being fans of a video game company, why not start frequenting other forums? Rockstar, Bethesda... Get out of here with this negativity!

Well considering that I haven't posted here in over a month and that I have been posting on the top rpg developer Bethesda's forum instead, I would say that you're all but having your wish. Ignorance is bliss. Don't listen to reality. Run off anyone that speaks ill of your precious.

Side note: What does Rockstar have to do with any of this? They don't even make rpgs.

YOUR truth, which seems to be the minority over here.
And no doubt, the moment your precious Bethesda make a mistake, her world will fall for her fans, as happened over here. Fans are like that: unfair, boring and ungrateful!
And i said Rockstar because it is a company that makes great games and with a large base of fans. I love Rockstar too.

I'll tell you exactly how. The developers read it. The developers read the concerns of their product. Not just my concerns mind you. But anyone that dare speak out against their precious. Anyone with an opinion that doesn't bow down and lick their boot.

yeah you are right here. as a consumer you have the right to complaint However my argument is that this has already been done in DA2 forums and ME forums (different teams but i assume word is spreading).

I think you're describing constructive topics here, ones which present an opinion on something that doesn't work and invite suggestions on how it could be improved. Not ones which just start "Bioware sold out, waa".

We tried that. Don't let my join date fool you, I was on this forum from the begining when Chris Priestly told us that this was a place for the developers to talk to their fans. And no it wasn't because I was banned. I lost my log in details as any moderator can look up this instant. Bioware doesn't listen to constructive posts. If they had, they would have listened to their beta testers for tor. But since I was in early beta, we were ignored.

Grow up.

Grow up? Okay, stop being so naive.

Fair enough, upto you but I do question the point as to being so contrarian to the point of defending making yourself unhappy for something to do.

1. It used to be the majority on these forums.
2. Bethesda is not my precious. 3 posts ago I just explained how I did the same thing with Skyrim's retarded house dlc. Also, Bioware has made it's mistakes in the past. It never stopped them from keeping their reputation until now. I am a Bioware fan before I am a Bethesda fan. That's the only reason why I still come back here.
3. Agreed.

You do not know the difference between constructive criticism and negative criticism.

Saying, "The Bioware was sold, I hate her, admire my truth" is extremely negative.
Now say, "repeated scenarios do not work. Gameplay more quickly does not work." This is to be positive, EVEN IF "BIOWARE" NOT AGREE.

That's what separates the fans from fanboys. Fans are on the side of the company even when he knows that the company made a mistake, and try to help improve the future.
Fanboy on this side of the company until he commits an error or two, and then hate that company with full force.

Edit: I love Bethesda too. I love everyone :kissing:

So why stop it then? You already have the developers creating threads asking in which direction they should take. They understand there is a problem. Let them know when you disagree with something. I just don't understand why voicing your opinion is so wrong? Who cares if it's been done before? Do it again. If you care about Bioware, this genre or even this industry, have a voice in which way the world turns. YOU pay their salary.

I would not be here if I was a fanboy. I haven't played a Bioware game in 6 months. Is there really a reason for me to care other than I honestly just give a damn?

i think that most of the times we critisice things because they are not what we would like them to be.
You original post was negative and it did not offer nothing constructive.
Share your ideas , your objections and not your frustation. This forum is for that purpose.

Also people i am going to be a mall cop and say this" Let's keep it civil please.

1. I criticize Bioware because I care.
2. My original post was meant to bring back the memory of when Origins was released.
3. Why can't ideas, objections and frustration be one in the same? I don't understand why I can't express my ideas and objections in a frustrated manner.

I sure do. That was back before Bioware sold out their entire customer base. The last best game Bioware ever made.

Dragon Age 3 will be more of the same garbage that Dragon Age 2 was. Bioware turned their back on the people that made them who they are.

And people that made bioware what they are, grab pitchforks when they do not like something.
Da2 was a new approach. it had it's many faults but Bioware did not play it safe ground.
this should be respectable at some point.

I vaguely remember seeing advertisements for DA:O and not being all that interested in it and I didn't really know what it was about. I did pick it up eventually though, and it was great.

I remember Dragon Age Origin.
First read about on Wikipedia while I reading about Baldur's Gate. About a year later I saw it in the discount shelf while I buying food at my local supermarket, so I thought sure, why not.
A enjoyable game, except for the combat.
Then about a year or so later I hear there is going to be a sequel, so I preorder it. I wasn't disappointed.
A enjoyable game, except for the combat.

Wait, so you are saying that all of us who are here are here because we DON'T care? Yeah, that's all making the kind of sense that's...not.

Let me rephrase, I suppose people just gave up and accepted the fact that Bioware will never again be the top developer in the genre and that Bioware games are nothing more than mediocre now. But see I'm the bad guy for criticising their direction right? I'm not supposed to be able to have an opinion or a voice because I don't trust their business model?

You do realize that your...lets call them complaints...aren't exactly anything new here. You haven't brought anything to the table that hasn't already been discussed at great length. And no, you're not the bad guy for criticizing, you're the bad guy for feeling the need to lash out against people who don't share your views. Also, if you truly have given up on BioWare then what exactly are you doing here? You know, aside from trolling. Because if you truly feel there is no hope left and BioWare is completel useless, then why waste your time coming here?

So just because what I'm saying has been said before means that people still shouldn't voice their concerns over the issue? Imagine if King George replied saying "these issues have been voiced before, no need to rehash them"... if there is an issue it needs to be addressed no matter how many times it goes ignored.

Why am I here? I have no idea. I haven't played a Bioware game since the day after Mass Effect 3 was released. I am here because I honestly give a damn. I have no other explanation. I want my RPGs back. I want the games that built this company back.

You can express frustration without being insulting and rude, you can say you didn't like the game without calling it 'garbage', you can express your disappointment with Bioware without making personal slights "...Bioware sold out their entire customer base....The last best game Bioware ever made...Bioware
turned their back on the people that made them who they are" and those are personal insults because you're making statements about the kind of people you think they are.

Can you really not see how hostile and antagonistic your post was? How do you expect to discuss something with people like that, it's the equivalent of getting right up in someones face in RL, it just doesn't work...
