No, I'm nothing special at this game, but I whine about randoms because most of them are much, much worse than 'nothing special,' and shouldn't be playing gold. It isn't bragging to say that if you need to get carried to make it to the end of a match, you should be playing on a lower difficulty.

It's an easy trap to fall into. You've allowed yourself to be wound up, and sprout a rant post by the very ranters you despise.

I happen to agree with you on all points, but in just the same way that a child craves attention, even if it's punishment, you have given the kickers and elitists the oxygen they crave by allowing yourself to loose your cool.

Just steer clear of them and join me and the other fun players in the warm embrace of Silver.

I completely agree with you. I actually have never been on the receiving end of kicker/elitist rhetoric I just was tired of seeing the posts that were obvious ploys for attention/acceptance. When I write I just let it come out I don't plan the rant I just give into it. I am aware of the inherent hypocrisy that is present in my post but I am glad to see that you understand/agree with the core belief woven into the fabric of my rant. Thank you

You sound like one of my exes. I dumped her because of her emotional, "unplanned" tirades and tantrums that made her look so immature. She always tried to turn things around on me to make herself the victim, pointing out that X, Y and Z that I do are obviously "this," blah blah blah.

So...

Your ethos has been shattered. Any time I see one of your posts, I will think of her and never take you seriously.

Are you asking me out?

yuhime I love playing private duo games as well. I would be more than willing to battle a gold challenge with you even if/when we loose. All I want to do is have fun so don't tell yourself that you can't complete gold or that you are a burden. Burden shouldn't be a word associated with online CO-Op mp. The best way I learned to survive/excel in silver was repeatedly getting my a** kicked until I figured it out. Trial and error is the way to go. If you are an xbox player hit me up anytime!

I am PC player and I tried gold. I just didn't have enough fire power to cause significant damage and forcing others to save my a** instead focusing on game seamed just... I don't know. I still find silver rather challenging especially now after new DLC. Someday I'll be strong enough to beat gold and maybe platinum just not today.
And thanks for the offer. I appreciate it.

This was a painful thread to sift through. I believe that the TO had some good points about complaining about PUG matches, that nobody seemed to notice.

I do believe that some BSN posts are just what TO says : A complaint about PUG when really its a veiled attempt to show off. Sometimes a screenshot of the final score is posted showing how terrible the other players are ( when they are really trying to show how great they are ). Etc - we have seen plenty of these threads.

I play PUG about 1/2 the time, maybe less. My formula for enjoyable PUG Gold matches is to always play with people who use consumables, and if the lobby does not use consumables, then leave. Fortunately there are a lot of players so you just need to find good players out there, and the ones who use consumables, if not good, at least are invested in the match so are less likely to quit or leach.

There seems to have been some confusion about whether this assignment was to be double spaced.

Complaining about complainers is not productive in any iteration. Locking.
