Title says it all, really. So far, it's been implied that Orlais will play a part, but it seems we'll probably be able to travel to places like Tevinter. Assuming this is true, where would you like to see?
Personally, I really want to see Kal Sharok. According to the codex entries and various things implied during the first game, it seems to be a much darker version of Orzammar, with a lot of isolationism and the inhabitants having done horrible things to survive. I'd love to see this alternative view of the dwarves, far more impacted by the darkspawn.
What locations do you hope to see in DA3?

The mountainside caves surrounding Kirkwall. Don't think I've fully explored their rich environments yet :innocent:

I don't want to see Tevinter in DA3, as I'd much prefer an entire game be set there. The society differs from the rest of Thedas so greatly that I really think it warrants full development.
I'm curious to see what kind of grand set pieces they have in store for Orlais. This is, after all, a vital core of Thedas civilization. It's a great opportunity to create contrast, and show the player why so many non-Fereldans in DAO seemed to think Ferelden and its towns/cities were inconsequential and backward.

Really want to see Orlais and Antiva. Tevinter would be cool but like marshalleck said a whole game could be set there.

Need to see the Palace and Cathedral of course and then as many different biome styles as possible without essentially making no sense, snow capped mountains, lush jungley stuff, fire and lava all the good stuff.
would like to see moar dwarves aswell 'cause they're awesome.

My guess is some if not all of these places will be visited at least briefly in Dragon Age 3.
- Val Royeaux and the White Spire
- Cumberland
- Nevarra city
- The Dales (might be where the Dalish are in the stone-covered fields in the concept art)
- Kal-Sharok, and the surrounding Deep Roads
- Starkhaven
- Denerim (quick visit to have some cameos from the Fereldan ruler or something)
The Orlesian Heartlands/Lake Celestine and one or more Orlesian villages/ small towns
- Kirkwall (despite all the player-hate for the city, going back to where the whole thing started just makes for too good a story-point to leave out). I could see them at least making you visit either the Gallows or High-town with Hawke's estate.

I would like to see a huge Val Royeaux to run around in. Would love to see Tevinter, but as previous posters have said, a whole game should be set there. The Anderfels would be an amazing place to visit at some point in the series.

Well I can only hope we get to see the Tevinter Imperium in this one, but I think we are going to see the Empress and her court.

I would love to see the Chantry in Orlais, the Capital city, the Empress' Court. I would love to see an Inquisitions dungeon
and most of all I would enjoy seeing a more explorable open map of the country side. I would very much enjoy them taking us off the rails when we travel. And the best for last Tevinter Imperium !!!!

I hope to see Rivain and Antiva. Wouldn't say no to Tevinter either.
But I expect to see Orlais, the Free Marches and maybe Ferelden if they're tying up the Mage/Templar thing in DA3.

Honestly, as long as it is a place/places we haven't seen before, I'll be happy. There's so much of Thedas we haven't yet seen and I'm excited to experience some new places.

I actually do not care for Orlais in the slightest. It doesn't put me off the game at all, but I can't really say that I am "excited" about the idea.
I think Tevinter would make a more interesting setting overall. I'd prefer more time spent there, personally.

I'd personally like to focus on one country at a time.
If it's Orlais - so be it - I'd like to see all the major features of that country this go around.

There are a few obvious locations, based on the maps they showed us that include plenty of places I'd like to see, so I'm going to skip the ones we obviously WILL see. Instead, I'll mention the ones I want to see that may not be obvious:
* Kal-Shirok - I'd like to see a different side of the dwarven culture,
* Starkhaven - With or without Sebastian, it would be interesting to see some of the political intrigue that has been hinted at.
Also, there's a number of locations that were show in previous games, that I'd love a follow-up on. Just to see what's changed in the intervening years.
* Orzammar
* Redcliffe
* Kirkwall

The Black City and the Tevinter Imperium would be amazing which means we'll probably get stuck with Orlais and its poodles.
