[Daxamite]

I was on holiday the day it was released and only came back a few days ago. 

WOW, a lot of changes! Not sure I like the new banner system, its distracting and messy. I can see that it changes between showing N7 rank and how many times you've promoted that class? But whats the 3rd gold medal thing supposed to indicate?

The challenge list is pretty cool in a way, not sure yet if im actually bothered to specifically try and fulfill them. So far I've played whatever i wanted to play and let it fill up naturally, but maybe it will motivate me to try things that i havent bothered with before. I wont be getting any of hte Platinum achievements anytime soon though

Most important of all was the new Collector faction. I initially played them on bronze, they were no harder than other factions. Started doing collector silver matches - not bad. Yesterday, played as DrellAdept with multiple different PUG matchces where i ended up joining around wave 4-6. I was playing with high N7 players using high level classes, but i still kept topping hte scoreboard. That doesnt happen v often! So either there are a lot of bad players on right now, or DrellAdept with nothing more than grenade boosting gear and a cerberus Harrier lvl1 is the Bane of the collectors! I have to say, I really do NOT like the Scions, as half the time I dont even notice them firing at me until its too late, and theyre a bit too similar to Ravagers and not doing the shockwave thing they did in ME2. But I like the way they create those barriers, and the swarms attack and reduce your power recharge. But collectors could still do with one more class of fighter. Also, the Praetorian animation looks terrible for some reason, nowhere near as cool as how it appeared in ME2. 



ALSO met the new Geth bombers - urgh! Geth are even worse on silver now, and the Pyros are STILL killing me without me even realising there are flames - and the new Cerberus Dragoons, who are pretty hilarious. So far they havent been much more than an annoyance in silver matches, but i wonder what theyre like in a gold match 

ALSO encountered the new maps. FIrebase White - wtf was my initial reaction with the new layout! and then the snow blizzard obscuring visibility was pretty cool. THe other one (Glacier?) was pretty cool with the new graphics.  
no luck unlocking any new characters or guns yet   still waiting for an N7 FUry and N7 Paladin. 

So overall id give Retalition a big thumbs up.
