Is "Warden's Keep" really worth spending 560 points over?

Has anyone noticed that good magical items only are provided by DLCs or other premium ways (the flash game)? My whole character is equipped with items from the various sources, except for the original game itself ;D

Since one can easily produce cheat items with the toolset, why buy this DLC? The only answer can be: Story and gameplay. While the story is somewhat interesting, it is really short. Another hour would've been fine. And just because of items I don't buy DLCs. I hope, Return to Ostagar will be better. Otherwise I will think deeper about buying those things.

Stone Prisoner in contrast is excellent. A new companion, a backstory with accompanying quests. Although the initial quest in this village seemed a bit weak in comparison what would follow that ;)

If you finished the main story arc will you be able to return to the mainland and do the DLC content?

if you finished the main quest you will not be able to return.

and to answer the OP, i find it not worth my money, and the items are kinda overpowered and break the game's balance,  especially if you get it early on. so yes if i can i would return it.

The story was interesting the first time through. On subsequent playthroughs I race through it because it's pretty short. I like Starfang, but there are other good swords out there. The best part of it is the storage chest. I dump things I want to keep for later (trap components for my rogue) before going on a big arc so I can keep as much loot as possible. I really like the free talents for rogue (faster movement with stealth, thank you) and the mana regeneration for mage is good. It's not that much extra money.

Not true. I have a character who has finished the entire campaign. The game makes a save at the end of the campaign, you are on a bit of road, and walk through an exit to the camp. The time places you after landsmeet but before going to Redcliffe. I haven't done it yet, but bioware says we can go and do DLC quests and so on. Otherwise, there would be no point in the saved game, time frame explanation, and return to camp. You get the picture?;)

It is worth it, and I would not return the points if I could.

Good story, great new items like Starfang, Warden Commander Set looks amazing, Avernus's robes, Winter's Breath etc... and 2 useful spells.

I absolutely loved the Wardens keep mainly for the story it added, Sophia Dryden and Avernus are awesome additions to the cast I just wished that you could have future interactions with Avernus instead of him locking himself in the tower but maybe the devs have something in mind for a future DLC. After the great story the Wardens armor is my favorite armor in the game for Ali and MY rogue enjoyed the dark talents from the potion. I felt it was a great investment that enriched all my future playthroughs and Felt it was money well spent. But then I do play mainly for the story. I live in this world but vacation in Ferelden moonlighting as a grey warden at least until I return to saving the galaxy as a spectre.

It was $7, which isn't much. The first time through, it was interesting enough to make me feel it was worth the money. It's dulled after that, but the items there make up for it. And I suppose the skills, too.

No, the game makes a save at the end of the whole campaign, when you walk out the doors after talking to your companions. Go to that character and look at the saves. You can't do any other quests you've missed, but you can do DLC, or that is my understanding and the explanation that Bioware gives. I haven't done it yet, but that is what we're told. So if you have finished - and then you buy Warden's Keep or get Shale, or when then Ostagar dlc comes out, you can go to that save and do those quests.

I'm not sure it would be worth doing Shale or the Keep - what good would it be with no other quests to use them on? Return to Ostagar may be different. It would make more sense and be much more useful if we could go and finish quests that didn't get done or that we missed. There is a timeframe, when I used the save it told me it was after Landsmeet but before going to Redcliffe in the timeline, so you've just been moved back in time.

I think it's funny how many people make a big deal over 7 bucks and I'm assumeing the majority of the players are atleast teens and up and got a job or do something to make money?  Hell a pack of cigs cost me almost 7 bucks, when I'm out of country most beers cost me that..  I think it's worth it and I'm picking up the RTO cause it's only 5 bucks.  I played through this game now 5 times so even if I blow through wardens in 30 mins that is almost 3 hours of extra game play I gotten out of this game.

The cost of Warden's Keep is probably the same price you spent on dinner tonight, just saying. If you're really into Dragon Age get it as it expands the DA Universe and you get some good gear and abilities. It is short and I played it through in one hour, so I was disappointed in that regard.

Yes, once you beat the game it automatically creates an epilogue save where you can go back and do the DLC

I see Awakenings is now available for pre-order. It looks like maybe a full size expansion similar to the Neverwinter and Baldur's Gate adds. I wonder if the Warden's Keep will have a useful role.

Why yes it is, I found the gameplay experience fun and enjoyable. If you are a fan of Bioware, and likely going to be replaying it. It deff has some good bonus sets in it. Though you should post this in the regular if you don't want spoilers.

Though at the end of the day. You have decide for yourself if it's worth it.
