Why should I trust Bioware to not ship a broken copy of DA3 like they did with M3?

Hello, I'm was a big Bioware fan untill the ME3 was shiped broken. I was incredably distrought by this and was left feeling betrade. When Bioware was unapolajectic and then the expanded ending they made was mostly pandering and more of the same. In the end ME3 is broken and will never be fixed becuase for what ever reason the wrighters wern't allowed to wright ME3's ending and some slack jawed hick decided to just slap a cheasey Humen's vs Machines ending to what was an epic space opra. Srsly, i called in sick to work BECUASE i beat the game not becuase i wanted to play it!

Now I didn't make this post to harp on ME3, I'm just getting my concerns about buying another Bioware game after such a betrail. Deciding not to buy or play another Bioware game untill Bioware did something to make up for it's flop I found my games lacking... yeah skirim (after the mod comunity fixed it) had a meny diffrent and great stories but you couldn't change anything! You couldn't change the dark brotherhood into a force for good, you couldn't change public opinon about Licen and vampires. They were just monsters, or hired hands, or just a stone doomed to be set in stone. No other games allowed me to make my univrse, my friends, my enemies and anything else.

As for DA2 I loved everything about it! Reused lvls? Well yeah, I'm not an adventurer or a wanderer, I'm a man! I'm a normal humen trying to build a life for his friends, family loved ones in a home I EARNED with my own swet and blood! It wasn't reused lvls it was bad guys using used hidouts and me scoffing at the "home feild advatage" they thought they had. I was home clearing out the rats!

So what it comes down to is; are you going to do the same thing with DA3 as you did with ME3 or will i be able to sleep after beating it? Are you going to make it a skyrim clone or will it be a fluid univrse ware your choices can have real effect? Should I buy this game?

Until now, we as fans don't have many "set in stone" facts about DA III, except:
-voiced protagonist
-dialogue wheel
-paraphrases
-fixed race to human
-selection of non-playable backgrounds ( whatever that means )
-our protagonist will be the Inquisitor ( whatever that means )

So, I think it's way too early to give a "sure, buy this game and you'll have shiploads of fun" advice.

It's sounds as though it is no more dangerous than any other game.

For maximum safety, you will want to download it. If you'd rather be on the cutting edge, then buy it on a disc, but be careful opening the box! Those paper cuts can be nasty. Not to mention there's always the risk the cutter you're using will slip and you might injure yourself. Either way, having some antiseptic cream on hand will go a long way to preventing any cut from getting infected.

After ME3 and DA2, I don't think that Bioware games are 'safe' buys anymore. I am definitely waiting until after launch before deciding if I want to buy it.

To be fair, you are also forgetting possibly owning a castle.

And customizing companions that also have iconic looks.

Not to be pessimistic here but neither DA2 nor ME3 came anywhere close to what you just described...

So my answers would be

1. No.
2. If you liked DA2 that much then yeah go for it

Usually trailers don't show the negative aspects.
I guess it will be the typical action fight sequence with the hero, where you can see a lot of gore/splatter to attract the action crowd.

I didn't put them in there on purpose because they are very vague.

Are they made of steel? You may also require a lead shielding apron in case you are exposed to any radiation from DA3.

Wait for more information and see if it appeals to you before buying.

Well, there isn't such a reason right now. They're talking about improving features in-game, better communication during the development, listening to player feedback and maybe bringing in some ideas, but talking is talking. I think you have to wait til previews show up.

I have collected all of the information that is 100% verified at this point in this thread:

http://social.biowar.../index/14334357

At this point, I don't think we know enough to state whether or not it's a "safe buy", but I'll let you judge for yourself.

Dragon Age: Inquisitor will be a fun, immersive, and strategic game that will put all your worries about BioWare jumping the shark to rest.

NO game is a safe buy, you should always read several professional and gamer reviews before buying any games. provided you can resist the preorder bonuses.
