In a post-synthesis world, bread slices itself.
I've already tested it by turning the toaster into a raccoon...

After putting so much effort into the belief that all cultures have something to offer this world, I really find it disgusting that everyone as they currently are needs destroyed and rebuilt in the half organic half synthetic image dictated by the reapers (because being half and half has clearly made the reapers great people).

Which it has, or did you forget where the citadel or the mass relays came from?
Can't make an omelet without committing some genocide.yukon fire wrote...

Only if you drank the kool-aid. Wait, what is kool-aid made from, is part synthetic now too? Does it all just turn green? Oh the endless speculations.yukon fire wrote...
An uncountable amount of genocide, and these are the people we should be remade in the image of?

In Synthesis
2) You don't have to eat food anymore to survive. It's only a delicacy.
2) You can control how intoxicated you are after drinking alcohol or doing drugs
3) You can watch Netflix when you close your eyes.
4) You can drive cars using your mind alone.
5) You can share files with other people without Omni-tools
6) ???

I really think this idea is great. Imagine having the strengths of both organic and machine and the weaknesses of neither. I've been setting up a computer network for the past six weeks and have been coming up with all these little changes I want to make on the fly. It dawned on me today how much easier this would be if synthesis were real. I could personally interface with the network and just think it and the network would understand and align itself to my thought patterns. Wow. I wouldn't have had all the trouble getting all these contraptions working, and I wouldn't have had all the licensing issues with the companies because the computers and I could have communicated directly and talked things out rather than having to go through the people who were constantly making mistakes.
And then speaking of the people, we wouldn't have had to worry about the language barriers either since I could communicate digitally with them by thought. So that would eliminate a lot of problems right there.
I really hope Bioware makes Synthesis canon for the next Mass Effect game. It would be a wonder utopia.

Yes, Synthesis is the best way to expand ME lore. Just imagine the possibilities, and keep in mind reserved Dark Energy Plot
... And actually there is a way to make Synthesis inevitable without making any ME3 ending canon:
