I remember...
When people were afraid that Bioware would ban sexy asari color schemes.
When biotic explosions were necessary for gold runs
When Tech bursts were just as strong as biotic explosions
When a fire explosion was something barely ever seen
When Krogans were kicked from the game as often as drell
When having a lvl X UR was suspicion for hacking...

Almost feel sorry for the poor things most times these days. Crossfire City.
The fabled and mythical Black Widow, only gifted to a select few.

Do you remember getting screwed in the store after saving up a million credits and only gettingrare equipmentKrogan Sentinels and Drell Vanguards? Pepperidge Farm remembers.
fixed.
I'd much rather keep getting XP and constantly promoting than get rare equipment. At least if the store would give us an actual chance to get rare gear, characters, weapons we are missing first before defaulting to rare equipment I wouldn't be annoyed.
So I a guess a more on point remembrance woould be, you remember when the store would give you something useful instead of defaulting to single use rares?

...the sense of happiness when I unlocked the AA and later the AJ back in the day. Played all night with my sexy little Asari.
...the sense of safety an SI would bring to a gold lobby. You always knew that whatever happened to your pretty, over-aggressive Asari butt, the SI would be there to pick you up and dust you off. Haven't seen one of those in a while. And nowadays my Fury has to pick up the infiltrators.
...the first matches back in the demo. Everything was so new and exciting and playing a Novaguard was the best thing ever. Also, SP was going to be the perfect conclusion to the story...
...the board being elitist- and whine-free.
And not to forget:

Ah, great times.

We did the old FBW standing up top around that ladder vs. cerberus on gold in under 15 minutes, my mind was blown.
Back then we didn't even know about 5,8,9 nuke spawns.
It was 2x Salarian inf., an Asariguard who was always either first or second on the scoreboard, and me as a HFI because I hated salarians(still do) and I was always fighting for first vs. that stasis Black Widow 6 when mine was only a Black Widow 1.
I also remember speed running dagger on gold with 4x falcons prenerf.
Lol that **** was so op but fun as hell.
I also remember getting kicked from a lobby as I overheard them talking about my level 1 gear bonus saying I would be useless (I just came back from a long break of not playing so I didn't have good gear bonuses).
They didn't even give me a chance to put on equipment and totally disregarded my N7 even though it was about 3000 more than theirs.
I also remember playing with a 6k+ N7 when I was only 2k back in the day who thought he was gods gift to any lobby he joined. I played with his friend and said sarcastically that I couldn't help for a second because I was getting ammo as his friend then fell to the floor.
Apparently I was a bad teammate for getting ammo and not dealing with his friends problem like they were my own.
I lol'd and deleted his sorry ass.

Why remove it completely instead of, y'know FIXING IT properly.
I say this with genuine love I have for the studio as a whole, but Bioware tends to only know how to add, cut, or copypasta stuff in their games. There is no "fix".

I remember the painful amount of time it took to get the credits for a Premium Spectre Pack. Back when I was only playing Bronze.
I remember the insane celebration when I successfully finished my first Silver match.
I remember the even more insane celebration when I finished my first Gold match.
I don't remember much about my first Platinum match. Everything was so hazy... It all happened so fast...
